...maybe.

Telltale Games hires X360 Programmer (http://www.palgn.com.au/article.php?id=6809&sid=640f38a32427aac2379424dbadd4220e&title=XBLA+to+get+downloadable+Sam+%26amp%3B+Max%3 F)

For those who don't know, Telltale Games have been releasing episodic adventure games based on the seminal LucasArts classic Sam 'n' Max for quite some time now - I haven't bought them on the PC, because I inherently lose things that I download, but bringing a high quality adventure game to the Xbox Live Arcade service is promising for the future of the genre :D

It's not really an iron-clad thing. They could just be expanding to the 360 with another game.

Still, I've got my fingers crossed. I would love to play the Canine Detective and the rabbity-thing on my 360.

That's usually what the word 'maybe' implies.

I've been tempted in getting a 360 for about a month now. At first I was dead against the 360, but looking at the games it has me tempted, and if Sam & Max does come out then that may just push me into it. They should re-release so many adventure games on the new consoles.

Thank you, Captain Obvious. Being excedingly stupid, I often struggle with the definition of maybe. But thanks to your insightful commentary, I can now fully grasp it's meaning.

I bought the game for a pound at a car boot and just couldn't get anywhere on it, maybe if it follows the trend of most games these days it will be easier.

I bloody well hope not.

That's the problem with kids these days - no patience. It's all about instant gratification.

In MY day, we didn't have your fancy controllers with buttons and joysticks! We had one one button! And if you wanted rumble effects, you had to get your older brother to pick you up, and shake you around. And we liked it!

Damn kids these days, with their easier video games, and their rock and roll music, and their underwear with the elastic band that still works....

Haha. Yeha. I mean, I'm 15 and when I downloaded Scumm, I almost peed myself playing these games. Quotes like "I'd wet my pants if I wore any!" are just worth playing it through. I love Grim Fandango too. God I wish Lucas Arts still made those. What about the voice acting? Do you guys thimk the new Teltale games voice actors are at ar if not *gasp* better than the originals?
