I like at the overall fun factor and story line of the game mostly. Without those 2 you have a boring game with no point at all.

Anybody who thinks that; "if the graphics are good" that makes the game good" should rot in well you know... (Hence FFX lovers)

I believe the story line/plot is most imporant. Usualy, FF games have great plots and backgrounds. Graphix are nice, but nothing I really pay much attention too. As is the battle system, I just play it as it is. But I do, however, look att he story line.

I buy FF coz it is FF. I know I will get a good game with a solid story, crisp FMV's and awesome character developments. Although I chose story, coz a game without a story is crap. If it is somewhat confusing I mucyh prefer it coz then I can play it more and more and get more out of it.

i love everything from every ff game! the storyline is always deep, so is the battle system. the FMV's are near perfect, and each character is very well thought out. there are other things, but it would take me all day to type it all!

I look for the storyline in a game cause it's not a game with a bad storyline. The Fmvs are just your reward when you get past a certain part. There also has to be a fun factor in the game or its boring.

I think the Battle system and storyline are the most important

You gotta have a good story or else the game sux. FF8 proved that very well. FF7 is the best example of this though.

I agree that the storyline is VERY important in this style of game. If the story makes no sense, or drags along then people will just turn it off, take it back to the store and part exchange it for something else. Hand in hand with that is the playability of the game. It's all well and good having the greatest story ever written by man in the game, but if the controls are awkward and the battle system is boring, then again you won't sit through it to completion.
