Does anyone here like Ska music? I like third wave ska alot, not sure how many people listen to it though. My favorite ska bands are:

Streetlight Manifesto
Five Iron Frenzy
Catch 22
Reel Big Fish
Big D And The Kids Table
Less Than Jake
Link 80
The Aquabats!
Mustard Plug

If anyone has reccomendations for other third wave ska groups, I'll be sure to check them out.

I like ska quite a bit and was pretty into for a while. I think one of the neat things about ska is that it usually has a pretty neat local scene in most places that you go or at least most places I have been. The Minneapolis ska scene is pretty neat lot of cool local bands and a solid following.

My Ska favoritism is solely limited to Madness. Outside of that particular band, the genre can get really old, really fast, to my perceptions.

Ska is great.
Sublime, The Toasters, or The Voodoo Glow Skulls are pretty good.
I almost forgot NOFX, I consider them Ska.

Ska is a type of Jamaican music combining elements of traditional mento and calypso with an American jazz and rhythm and blues sound. It is notable for its walking bassline, shuffling, scratchlike tempo, accented guitar or piano rhythms on the offbeat and more frequently in later revivals, jazz-like horn riffs. <- From wikipedia

"It changes drastically though by the time third wave ska hits and includes varying degrees of pop punk flava" <-- from Hogan
