I'm looking for a very rare OST, from the arcade game Violent Storm. VS is like Final Fight on steroids, great stuff from the Konami era of beat em ups. I've checked everywhere for it and noone has it...

Yes, I am trying to find this OST myself. The album name is Konami Amusement Sounds '94, and it is a 2 CD release. I believe the tracks from Violent Storm are on CD2 (I got these informations from the web). But there aren't any download sources.
So, if anybody has the music from this great Konami's game, it would be nice to post a link for it.

We are in the same boat, I also want to get that great OST. Even more outstanding (depending on taste, of course) is Metamorphic Force OST also by Konami. It is a great beat 'em up (1993). I encourage you to check it out on MAME. If you loved Konami's X-Men and Violent Storm, you won't regret it. Anyway, to cut a long story short, the titles of the OSTs we are looking for are Konami Amusement Sound Autmn '93 and Summer '93 (or Spring, not quite sure). Yes, Terry, I played Metamorphic Force, X-Man, and of course, Violent Storm in MAME.
Actually, I managed to "rip" some of the Violent Storm music from MAME using cheats, but I didn't get very far with it. Not all of them could be extracted (for now).
I guess we're stuck waiting for someone to share the actual soundtrack CD with us... If that ever happens.

This is the first track on the official OST CD. The name used here was provided by MP3 pages containing the information about this CD.
I hope I'll patch through a few more memory tweaks for this game and be able to clearly get the other music from it.

Well, I successfuly made it! I managed to rip 18 out of total 19 tracks listed on the original OST CD. The track 19 is some kind of a bonus track and it doesn't exist in the game ROM, so I couldn't get that one. The musics sound OK, and I edited and cut all the tracks to make them compact as much as possible. I also made every track duration match the one listed on the CD info. Lots of editing and MAME memory hacking went into it, but it payed off!

OK, this is the Game Rip soundtrack, so it sounds at the quality the way MAME plays it from game, but it is the music only. I disabled the background sound effects by tweaking some memory addresses. Also, the track naming are purely supposed by me and might not be accurate. The Track 19 (the one in "my release") is not the actual one from the CD by no means. Anatar has the real stuff.
The MP3 audio is recorded at 44.1KHz, 192kbps.
It took a while for me to "extract" these audios, and I hope you'll like it, and we all hope out friend Anatar will be our hero/heroine and free us from the unsuccessful search for this soundtrack once and for all.

Like he said, feel free to refer us to the location of the CD. It's not on Soulseek, nor is it on any other file sharing network that I've checked. I should note that it isn't that I haven't found a copy, per se, it's simply that the prices were absoludicrous. If there's a digital copy easily fluttering about, please do the world a favor and point us to its location. You don't need to "upload" anything if you could make good on what you're claiming and point us in the right direction.

Yes, Mercat, I also searched all kind of file sharing networks and didn't have any luck finding this release. All I could find was a front cover for the disk. Also, some resaults turned to be some kind of an auctions sites, where you could buy the music, or whatever it goes... That was of no avail to me...

Maybe you are using a shared IP address. That could cause download servers to think that you are already downloading something, when you are actually not. I've seen this problem a couple of times with ADSL users, for example...
