After Yunalesca, tells you you have to sacrifice someone for the Final Summoning, and before you take a stand and say no. I know everyone had someone they couldn't wait to get rid of, Who did you want to glady knock-off?

I hated Wakka, so he was th fist on my list (On my first playthrough I only used favorites, Wakka, Lulu, Rikku and sometimes Kimhari never saw the light of day, Wakka was the weakest though.

I think I'd have got rid of Tidus. It'd fit the storyline well, with the relationship between him, Yuna and Jecht. Also, in terms of characters on FFX, he was one of my least favourite. Wakka was a top character IMO.

I would have to say Kimhari. Not only because I didn't use him in battle, but because he was so protective of Yuna. I think he would've actually offered himself up.

PS - I hated that damn Yunalesca battle!

It was definitely the hardest storyline boss battle in the game.

Curse her and her zombie death skills.

I agree Yunalesca was insanely difficult as a compulsory boss. Then again so was Seymour Flux until I levelled up a lot.

I think I would have got rid of Tidus as it would have fitted the storyline well, but I would probably have chosen Rikku as she was my weakest character at the time.

I found using aeons against Yunalesca took away much of the difficulty. As they're immune to all status ailments it's pretty easy to beat all three of her forms with just your aeons, if you've spent a bit of time levelling up their stats and teaching them abilities.

Also, I found Jecht to be a more annoying boss than Yunalesca, personally.

What would have been interesting if Yuna had given herself up and the rest of the characters had to carry on with only her spirit to help them.

Otherwise Kimahri for the kill!

It's been done before (Forget about the Forgotten Capital?)

For the story - Tidus.
For personal taste - Wakka.

I don't like either of them though.

Yeah, i think that if there was a choice, Square would of made it Tidus so he can save Yuna.. but if possible, take Auron as he is already unsent.

Ah, I was thinking about Auron too...but would it work if he was already dead? I thought the fayth were souls that willingly leave their living bodies? Or something like that.

I agree Yunalesca was insanely difficult as a compulsory boss. Then again so was Seymour Flux until I levelled up a lot.

I had zero problem beating the two of them.
In fact first play through I finished this game in
three days. (the clock standing at 52:26 i think)
and the second play through I finished in 26 hours.

Anyway back to topic Tidus would have been my
number one to die to fit the story...

Also my weakest party member was Lulu
cause i always used Tidus, Rikku ( :naughty: ),
Kimahri, Auron and Yuna ( :naughty: )

I have to admit once you found out you had to be a zombie when she uses mega death i found so dam easy.

Yeah I think they used that in FF-6 to only in the opposite way.
Instead of you have-in' to be dead/zombie.

In the phantom train battle If you use a Phoenix Down
on the train - Instant death. maybe it was a wink to
what some say is the best 2D F.F. game ever.
(I do argee with that by the way F.F.6 rules)

On my first playthrough, precepts guard was easy and yunalesca was really hard. On my second playthrough yunalesca was extremely easy and precepts guard was hard. Weird.

I think I would have gotten rid of Lulu, I never used her.

Lady yunalesca was easy even without lvleling up my aeons they were no good in battle while i had Auron and Kimhari taling 9999 health off her each time while
tidis was a zombe. Now for my choice it would have been tidis for storyline as everyone has said and Wakka...everyone seams to hate Wakka don't they
