I've been trying to find this song in a decent quality file, but don't know what's its name:

I only know that it _may_ have appeared on the "Bastard!!" OAVs, but isn't on the Best of Bastard OST.

If anyone recognizes the song, please tell me how/where can I find it.

I've reviewed your song a over and over many times and I know that it's not in the Bastard!! OVA. Judging by the vocals used and the mysterious tune, it sounds like the artist may be Yuki Kajira (known for the .hack//SIGN series and many others).

The song carries with it similar, melodic qualities found in the anime Zone of the Enders: Dolores i, or even Zone of the Enders: Idolo.

I'll run it passed my room mate who's an anime guru and see if he can take a good guess at it. Can you recall how you came upon the song or where you downloaded it from?

From a Spanish magazine regarding manga, anime and japanese media that include media CDs; the thing is that it was filed under a "Bastard!!" folder, it comes in a very, VERY crappy video with Bastard animations that didn't appear throughout the OAVs...

I saw Bastard!! yet again and found no traces of the song (at least in the 6 episodes I have), so you might be right and one of the songs you say might be the one, I don't put much of my trust in Dokan or Minami (the aforementioned magazines).
