Alright, im in Edge city on DoC, and im trying to beat this armoured soldier, how do you do it? I'm having the worst time! Although I'm sure it doesn't help that i suck at the gun crap.

Use materia and physical attacks.

How can you get stuck on a piece of piss/waste of money/headache inducing hunka shit like this?

If anyone needs help in beating this game, they'd probably need help wiping themselves as well.

Either use materia, melee attacks or just do a Limit Breaker.

I only got the game yesterday and am finding it a little hard to convert from the old ATB systems into the new Shoot em' up stuff.

Some people just find it a little harder than others, it doesnt mean they suck at the game it doesnt mean that you are better than they. It just means that you are a whiny little fucktard!

I have you really have to just wander around alot and look for the keycards try the offshot corridors that lead back into old rooms or new ones they tend to be blocked by cans and lasers use the card get back a card and some items either Ammo or health items. If you want tough though try Cait Sith verus 100 enemies I tried it after I beat hard Mode and could only get up to 65. The challange is because Sith barely has any health his attacks stink and little health items to be found.

As for the Armored Soldier first ignore him and handle all the grunts and snipers. Once you are finished take Pot shots at him from the Catwalk, to avoid his misslies keep on the move. After a bit he drops his Bazooka and pulls out machine gun pistols just repeat what you have been doing but watch out for now he will come up the catwalk. After a bit more he will drop the guns and use the sword unload with Materia and shots while keeping the distance and thats about it. Cat and mouse is the name of the game.

What do you think is a better resource for getting help in a game? Forums like these, or a walkthrough posted on gamefaqs where you can hit Crtl+F to find the particular section you're having trouble with?

Why don't you take a closer look at the situation and see that QueenOfTheWorld didn't even show that he/she put some conscious effort into searching for the answer to his/her problem? I don't help people who don't first show that they did everything they could to solve their problems before turning to others, and neither should anyone else.

It's not my goal to help everyone but it sure sounds like it's yours.

Finding DoC hard just means you have never played a hack-n-slash/shooter.. You should play Chaos Legion @ thread maker.

Or the thread maker just plays turn-based games in general.

I just shot at him from a distance >_> By the time he came up, he was already 80% dead or more xD Taking out the minions first is definitely key. Try and keep him from walking upstairs. I know there's a way, cause I kept him downstairs for a while. Just can't remember it, cause I haven't played it in so long. I also had a problem when first starting this game. Just keep at it, and you'll get everything down ^_^
