I know that this seems like an impossible choice to make, and the subject has probably been done to death, but what's the ultimate gaming experience in your opinion? Take everything into consideration.

Dracula: The Resurrection & Dracula 2: The Last Sanctuary.

These two games mean the world to me. I don't have counts on how many hours I've spend on these two games together.

"Contra"- The 30-life code. The finger-numbing twitch reaction gaming. The great soundtrack. The awesome level designs. This is, by far, one of my gaming cores of existence.

I couldn't pick one game. I love so many different genres. One of my favorite of all time though has to be FFVIII. I've beaten it so many times.

I don't know if this really counts but the game I most remember playing is Legacy of Kain Defiance for the first time. I had just arrived from an outing to the movies where I had two large Cokes and, with an itch to play, I didn't even go to the bathroom before starting playing.

I sat up pretty much all night playing it until I finished it. What made the experience truly memorable was the whiz I had to take afterwards, which, coupled with the satisfaction of having finished a game I loved, made that night one of the best I ever had.

There are two games that stand out most in my history's library:

Final Fantasy II (SNES): This game got me started on the role playing genre. I will never forget the theme song and how it made me feel upon beating it. Since then I've been hooked in playing games and since then I've been an undying Final Fantasy fanatic.

Gears of War (XBox 360): By far one of the best over-the-shoulder action shooters I've ever played. In terms of graphics, innovative gameplay and overall experience of satisfaction. It is one of those games that keeps me going. The sounds, the music (what little there was) gave an immense feeling of war. I thoroughly enjoyed it and cannot wait for the sequel. (If you've beaten it, you'd know there will be one)

We ♥ Katamari; god that game is great to play while stoned.

There's a shitload of games I can play for a really long time and not get sick of, like Um Jammer Lammy, (Another great 'lets get stoned and play' title) DDR, FFX2, GTA3/VC. That's alot of acronyms.

As far as 'Ultimate Gaming Experience' goes, I would consider that something along the lines of; going to conventions, playing DDR with the cosplayers, watching the competitions, and the overall social gathering of otakus, fangirls, and nerds in general. Not just playing one game and enjoying it a poopload. Good stuff right thur.

Super Mario Bros. 3

Best Game Ever.

Goldeneye, Super Metroid, Metal Gear Solid, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Resident Evil 4, and Megaman 2 would all be up there as well.

haha, you get stoned? I would've never guessed.

The ultimate gaming experience? I don't care how repetitve it is,(yes, I recognize this and still play endlessly)was Monster Hunter online. Fucking amazing fun sometimes, and that game got me hooked on it more than any other. Theres a great(but small)online community, and the game is just fun, even offline.

On a side note, Im too lazy right now to do any kind of research, so does anyone know whether or not the sequels coming out here? Im assuming no, but Im hoping yes.

Disgaea and Castlevania: SoTN are close seconds. SoTN is better than Disgaea however.

gaming while stoned <3 think i love you even more now gina

to answer the question, id say the best gaming experience would probably be RE4, cos that game just blew my mind, or F.E.A.R, just for sheer atomesphere, but i could pick any number of games.

I have spent countless hours, day and night, playing the WipeOut series. Minus WipeOut 64 and WipeOut Fusion because they both suck. But I absolutely Love WipeOut, WipeOut XL (or as Jarosik knows it - WipeOut 2097), WipeOut 3 (I've been using the "angular" font from WipeOut 3 (http://kleber.net/wipeout3/) on my MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/ixnine) profile) and WipeOut Pure. My ex used to give me BJs while I played WipeOut Pure - Good times. Ultimate Gaming Experience!
