The world is dead
Everywhere, anywhere
There is one thought bringing the rest of us down
Our leader knows nothing
Of what we need
To be a blissful nation

All across the globe
There is the lack of love
War
Hatred, blood and death
Darkness brews in the air
Let us now sing
Our dirge for the world

BS's drivel may lack quality, but it certainly has consistency. In fact, it's almost sad how his poetry is always awful. You'd think after all this time he'd have come up with a single marginally decent one.

Wait--is BS trying to go pseudo-political to spice up his usual boring goth wankery? Roffle.

edit: I know I'm a bit slow, but the title of this...er...poem just hit me. The pretentiousness of it nearly made me laugh out loud--were my wife and I not quoting Monty Python at the time. "Ni!" But I digress. We no longer have stale, cliched goth wankery--oh NO. We have pretentious, stale, cliched goth wankery.

Then again, my stale goth wankery hasn't been published like some others', so I'm not sure if I'm breaking some stale goth wanker-law by commenting.

Pseudo-Opeth on drugs that deteriorate brain cells... That's what this poem reminds me of. In other words, it sucks beyond the reach of most horizons.

I like how the word 'war' has it's own line. It really throws it out there....makes an impact. I quite like this poem. I hope you keep it up, as always ^^
