I dont see how the PS2 can be any crappier than Super Smash Bros.(The Power Stone rip-off)...

Capcom vs. SNK2 is awesome! My best team is Terry, Rock, and Athena. My best groove is "K".

CVS 2 rules, as does SSB and SSBM. My best team is a ratio 1 Kyosuke. Or a Ratio 2 Kyosuke and a Ratio 2 Kyo. Best groove is C.

In SSB, my best character is Link. Link ownz. THen Mario. Mario is an all time classic, and another one of my idles.

Nice try buddy. The original SSB came out before Power Stone was ever even announced ;)

Hmm... Power Stone 1 was nothing like SSB... but Power Stone 2... meh SSB came out before Power Stone 2.

Anyways, back on the topic!

I heard that Capcom is going to release a special controler for CvS2... which is a good thing. The GC controler would make CvS2 really hard to get use to after playing it on another system or playing it on the arcades for so long.

I like CvS2 also. I have the original for DC too. I need to get me an arcade stick for PS2 though.

Yep it's phat, but what's that groove anyway? And can you train in 2 player mode (with trainig mode that is?)...
I'm not playing it for so long as you see, but I'm planning to become a stylish fighter (fav fighter is ryu/ken/kuo)..

The Groove system will determine how you will play the game. As fighting games go on, their fighting system changes as well.

Alpha 3 had the 3 Leveled Power Bar (C-Groove)

Alpha 3 also had the Custom Combo system going (A-Groove)

Street Fighter 3 introduced the parry system and modifed the power bar (P-Groove)

King of Fighters 94-95 had the charge up system, where you hold 2 buttons to charge up your power bar. (S-Groove)

King of Fighters 97-98 had a system close to Alpha 3's system, my fave Groove (N-Groove)

Samurai Shodown and Garou: Mark of the Wolves make up the K-Groove.

thanx for clearing that up, DjMogK'.
It's cool that the game has different speed levels, and a lot of characters. I think things like that keeps the replay-value very high and making them interesting for long times. I must say, this kinda games stay at coolest when playing them against/with mate(s). I'm not very used with this kind of games lately(only in the past, those -still- freakin good ancient SF2/turbo etc.).

This game (in my opinion) is better than Marval vs Capcom 2 in gameplay. I do like Marval vs Capcom 2, I just never play it in the arcades because of all of the cheapness. I wanna fight... not see a 100+ combo, save that for the computers. Also, there are people that seems to run away in every situation with the same attack, over and over again, easy counters and so on. I'll get bored if someguy keeps calling his assist every single time, just to keep me from beating his ass.

I like it better than MVC2 also. It's not nearly as cheap, plus you got all of the nastalgia of having your favorite 2D fighters in one game. CVS2 is more about skill, less about who can get off a Super Tag Combo first.
