Here is the soundtrack, to the original Bonk's Adventure. I also have the soundtracks for the first Bonk's on Gameboy, NES, & PS2/GC if anyone is interested.

I wish I did! I've never seen a tracklisting. Though, I suppose I could compile atleast which songs are from which levels & such, if you want?

Ok, I'll do my best. Some tracks from what remember, are reused in certain spots. But I'll label where they first are used, from memory.

I might be off on those few with the ?'s next to them. I recorded the songs in the order that they appear in the HES file, & it's been awhile since I've played thru the entire game, but, I hope this helps :)

I would absolutely LOVE to see those soundtracks for Bonk's Revenge, Bonk III, and the gameboy Bonk (it had a sweet arrangement of a song from the TG Revenge, I believe). Total blast from the past.
I'd like to hear the PS2/GC music, too, since I never had the luxury of playing that game, since they never gave it to us in America.

Alright, cool. I'll work on getting them up. I also, IIRC have the music for Bon's Revenge GB, Super Bonk, & Super Bonk 2. There's also a 3rd GB Bonk/Genjin game, I'm not sure if I have any music files from that, I'll have to check. I'm also working on putting up Jackie Chan for Turbo/PC Engine.

This is great for those of us (including yours truly) who rediscovered this game on Nintendo's Wii Virtual Console to hear the tunes we played to.

Thanks a lot. ^_^

Which is part of the reason I posted it up here! I figured there'd be more love for the game with it's recent re-release :)

Great work again! How's about Ninja Spirit, Splatterhouse, Cadash, Legendary Axe 1 & 2, Air Zonk, Bomberman 93', Parasol Stars, It Came From the Desert, Dungeon Explorer 2, Aeroblasters, Beyond Shadowgate, Shapeshifter, Sidearms and Exile 1 & 2. No one's mentioned these yet, but that should help anyone else missing these as well.

Ninja Spirit could be ready soon, I haven't worked on Splatterhouse, Cadash could be ready soon, I need to rip It Came From the Desert, I need to make sure I have a source for the PSG tracks in Dungeon Explorer 2 so I can inlcude them with the redbook audio, Aeroblasters I haven't worked on yet, Beyond Shadowgate I just ripped, it should be ready soon, I need to rip Shapeshifter, I haven't worked on Sidearms yet, but I have ripped Sidearms Special(which is cd), & both Exile's are ripped & should be ready soon :)

That's great to hear. I'll be looking out for that. Funny thing was, I was able to play the Turbo CD's on a regular CD player, some Playstation games as well. Although, I haven't been able to do that with my 3do games nor have I seen anyone that has those.

All Turbo CD game use what's called Redbook audio, though, there what are called PSG tracks. Like, in Ys 1 & 2, in the villiage, it's PSG or cartridge music, but when you go into the field, it's redbook audio, or cd music. Alot of the old PS1 games used redbook, but as time progressed, to save space, they used the onboard sound chip for the games, so they could make bigger games, since that takes up less space. Although, some games, had sampled music, like, Suikoden 1, didn't use the PS1's sound chip, which is why there's some live instruments in it, where Suikoden 2, for the most part, to save space, used the sound chip. 3DO games never used redbook audio. I've never found one, that you can play in a cd player. It's all data on a 3DO disc.
