Her sidequest is fairly annoying however, but it does add to the flavor of the game.

thought she was useful, still do. good limit breaks, funny dialogue, cool story and agenda. but i did want to break her in half when SPOILER












she steals your materia, you find her in her house and she takes you downstairs, laments about wutai the war and its lost heritage and tacky existence now to sad music, then says press the right button and you'll get materia back. either button drops a cage on your other party members and she fucks off giggling and she only rejoins your crew and hands the goods back - in the wrong slots - when you rescue her from becoming don corneo's whore.

willfinalfantasy7fan, couldn't have said it better myself. She did have some nice limit breaks, but I thought the four I used in my party had better ones. I think I used Cloud, Tifa, Barret and obviously Vincent ;). I think all characters had good dialogue though, that's what made FFVII a really good game, the storyline was just amazing.

They're great if you know how to use them. If you're facing off against fire opponents obviously don't use the limit break. Facing off against opponents weak against ice, perfect. Hellmasker is amazing.

What's funny is, I had more fun using Cait Sith's limit than Vincent's.
Mainly because the rest of my party generally wiped out a good majority of the enemy party by the time he did something useful.

CrEsPo --- the reason you're getting pissed on is because you've just managed to bash one of the few other characters in the game that has a complex and interesting storyline. If you would read around the forum some more, you would find some pretty impassioned defenses explaining just why Cait Sith is actually a good character.

I didn't see it as getting pissed on. I've seen other posts by "Prak" and therefore have learned that he's nothing more than a 10 year old and therefore his posts should be ignored. Hence my replies "meaning nothing".

I never liked Cait Sith's storline. I played the game, I know what he's about, I just don't like it. He was my least favourite character in FF7. I'm not saying everyone has the same opinion as me, that was never implied. Just know that my opinion won't change.

Saying that, do you have any URL's to these impassioned defenses? Would be an interesting read if they are impassioned :).

Ignoring all previous posts and talking about Cait Sith...

the thing I liked about his limit break (level 2) was its randomness. I also loved the part where there was a chance of instant kill.

I didn't really use any characters that joined the team after getting Red, Except using Cid to make use of his triple AP growth weapon.

Infact the only real difference between the charaters is their current level and their limit breaks.
Since Clouds Barrets and Cid's limit breaks are quite good I saw no need in changing them for that reason.

After getting Morph and waking up in Gongaga i usually morph myself loads of Power sources and use attacks only anyway.

Is Yuffie the only character you need to do something to get. I just know someone is gonna say I have to do the game or give me a stupid answer. but I never got htat far in ff7, I never got Yuffie, Vencent, Red 8 or Cait Sith.

my only criticism of cait sith is that he seems like a cheap character in the story in that he's just a replaceable robot. i would have liked to have him as a repository for reeve's double agenting but not a playable character, at least not after you find out what he really is. i liked his breaks though

Yuffie is absolutely beautiful to me and I don't even really care when she steals my materia since we don't ALL need to be SO DEPENDANT on MATERIA do we and besides, Yuffie needs the materia for a reason you fools, she needs the materia for a cause that Cloud and the others are very ignorant of. After all, she had a hellish past since she was born and I have evidence to support it, you'll understand what I mean when you read some of the people who referred to the war that happened those 15 years ago in FF VII and then you'll understand, I would give my materia and my support to Yuffie for WE don't all need to become DEPENDANT on MATERIA now do we? :P lol That is a true sign of weakness for people who ALWAYS DEPEND on MATERIA which is why I absolutely trust Yuffie and I truly love her!! :D heh heh I truly admire Yuffie!! :) She deserves to have all the materia she wants and I would help her by giving her my Materia and my support for her and only her because as I have stated before, being dependant on Materia is an absolute sign of weakness since someone can use that to their great advantage ya know which is why I am not so dependant on Materia on EVERY battle I come across!!
