Considering that 'Dirge of Cerberus' wasn't even made by the same development team that made FFVII (Hence the really bad story and attempted 're-write' of Vincent's story from FFVII), there were too many liberties taken with it.

Don't bother playing it. Maybe hire, but I'd rather spend my money on something else... like organising a lobotomy for some people I know.

It depends on your taste. I personally think it's okay, but not worth buying. And after you get used to the controls, the game is kinda easy. I'm not so sure about the storyline, but the I like the gameplay. Just rent it like I did and if you have Swap Magic or a modded PS2, then torrent it if you want it.

I personally didn't like how SquareEnix did to this game. Although this is the 3rd person shooter game for FF ever released, the control/aiming system still didn't work very well by me. For example, in Chapter 3, there is a mission where you need to find and eliminate all the snipers who may lurking around on top of certain buildings. I almost spent 3-5 minutes trying to find out the whereabouts of those snipers with my Hydra equipped with Sniper Scope. Still, I still couldn't locate them easily. As a result, I just ran around those buildings and switched it to my Cerberus.... The aiming control system didn't appeal me much though.

I went through that part without any difficulty (when it came to find their location at least).

I still have yet to finish this game though...

It was short and it was easy. I did like it though.

if I can beat a video game in less than a three day span, then it is too short and too easy
