Ok, few quick questions which I'm puzzled about.

1. Does the rest of the party know Auron is died or is it only Tidus who knows?

2.At the beginning where Auron meets Tidus in Zanarkand, did Auron just die by Yunalesca and was sent with Sin to protect Tidus as Jeckt's promise?

3. How did Tidus die? Why is he a dream?

4. In the beginning of the game in Zanarkand, how long ago was it when Sin destroyed it, turning it into Zanarkand ruins later in the game?

Only because I'm extremely bored at work...

Did you finish the game? This is answered quite clearly at the end.

2.At the beginning where Auron meets Tidus in Zanarkand, did Auron just die by Yunalesca and was sent with Sin to protect Tidus as Jeckt's promise?

Yeah that's pretty much the story. Being dead has some nice bonuses...like getting to warp/move through the time/space continuum and travel with Sin back 1000 years into pre-destroyed Zanarkand which is actually nothing more than the dream of the Fayths. ...Follow all that? Yeah, me neither.

3. How did Tidus die? Why is he a dream?

FFX-2 delves into this. I can't say for certain since I never managed to finish the game, but he died during the war against Bevelle.

He's a dream because the Fayth have been trying to get someone to figure out that you have to KILL Yu Yevon and Sin...not use a final summoning. I believe that Jecht was a chosen character as well, but he just perpetuating the cycle but becoming the Final Summon for Braska, instead of doing what Tidus and the others did. Not sure how long that's been going on, or if I'm even completely understanding it, but I would've liked to hear if there was a history of the Fayths summoning people from their dream Zanarkand.

4. In the beginning of the game in Zanarkand, how long ago was it when Sin destroyed it, turning it into Zanarkand ruins later in the game?

I think they say this multiple times in the game...Zanarkand was actually destroyed 1000 years ago.

Thanks for that, does makes more sence. So does that mean basicaly Tidus died 1000 yrs ago at the age of 17, by the war against bevelle, and was reborn again with the fayths in the dream zanarkand to live his life and all the other people in the dream?

I havent finished the game and I don't think I will, so to my first question, when do they find out that Auron is dead?

There is no time travel in this game. Tidus jumps to this conclusion after finding out the real Zanarkand was destroyed 1000 years ago. A detailed explanation. And Tidus is not a fayth, but a 'dream' (an inhabitant of Dream Zanarkand, most closely related to an aeon). A better explanation is found here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spira_%28Final_Fantasy_X%29)

Auron tells Tidus after they defeat Yunalesca at Zanarkand Ruins.

They find out Auron is dead right at the very end, when he starts to disappear after they defeat Sin and Yu Yevon. Tidus was the only one in the party who knew up until that point. Though Kimhari might've had some suspicions.

And if you already know that Tidus is going to disappear, you should finish the game, because the ending is great. You shouldn't be that far from the end.
