Sony Europe exec hints at PlayStation 4

Australian tech news outlet SmartHouse is reporting that a Sony executive has already been future PlayStation consoles. Paul Holman, vice president of technology for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, said to SmartHouse that the next PlayStation--though it won't see a release until 2010 at the earliest--will potentially have enhanced "media center" functions and an interactive controller like that of Nintendo's Wii.

Additionally, according to Holman's interview with SmartHouse, the recently-launched PlayStation 3 will see significant firmware upgrades. He also dispelled rumors that management changes at Sony will mean the end of the PlayStation dynasty.

Like just about any rumor about a hot upcoming gadget, the PS4 talk has been spreading like wildfire even though its predecessor was released less than a month ago. CNET News.com is still awaiting confirmation from Sony on these latest rumors. We'll keep you posted.

There isn't anything definite there. It's just the same old corporate bullshit that no one in their right mind takes seriously.

Does sony even created any console with something original?!!!?

All I see here is corporate candy-coated bullshit, nothing is definite yet, but whatever it is in store for the future of Sony Computer Entertainment, it can't be good.
