a thread was posted containing an interview with gameplay details regarding ff11's pvp. it said there wasn't gonna be pvp. in fact there is gonna be pvp, but not the way we think. if anyone here has played dark age of camelot for the pc you would know there are zones where the three realms face each other.well ff11 has this RvR type gameplay.only difference is your defending your starting country. i.e. would be the country of the huumes. u don't have to be huume to play for the realm of huume or whatever the country is called. things like defending huge forts form enemy realms will be included as will be clan or guild made towns. hope this has cleared up any misconceptions. the beta-version does not feature this system but the final version will.

THe interview i posted sounded to me like there would be no PVP yet you say that there will be. What is your source?

yes, and why would the beta version not conatin it? i dont think they could do all the programming for that within the span between the beta release and the final.

actually squaresoft has told videogames.com that the beta version is only 30-40% of the final version of the game. i am a ff freak but i don't look at 3rd party sites created by fans cause facts could be misleading sometimes. if you go to videogames.com and read all their previews, updates, and so on all questions u have on ff11 should be answered

btw have u guys played any other mmorpg's? ff11 isn't in the same catagory as PSO or diablo. ff11 style of gameplay is very interesting. you would have to play an mmorpg to see what i mean. if you have a good pc go and pick up dark age of camelot or ultima online to see what i mean.:cool:

I hope your right, but i guess we will all just have to wait for the japanese relese to see what is what.

also, please try not to dubble post, the mods get pretty cranky when you do, if you have something else to say, just edit your post.

No problem :D. I dont trust internet info before it is confirmed by a respectible mag, like PSM or GI. but im not saying that your source in not reliable.

i don't trust online websites either but these guys at videogames.com are very reliable cuz they support info for mags like egm and they always have live coverage of e3

Ive played DAoC, and UO. Get Uo in my opinion. My Acct info was Roric730 Password Bluehair. If my chars arent wiped, your welcome for 4xGM pimped out char :). And some vet rewards. DaOc kinda sucked imo.

i like daoc cause the lvl system is much better than that skill point part, altough it had benefits for certain things like weapon and armor making. in ff11 you get the best of both worlds which makes me happy:D

I don't like Player vs Player. That is why I hate games like Quake III, Unreal Tournament, etc. Cause every time you go on there you get these nerds that do nothing but play that game and master it, then you go in there and they just kick your ass over and over before you know what happened.

A fair thing to do is like how everquest has it. On Everquest if you go up to a person and type /duel and that person types /duel then you can duke it out. But I won't buy this game anyways so it dont' matter to me.

if you played daoc you would kno that wouldn't happen in ff11. you can only have duke it out in ff11 and daoc in certain area's.:cool:
