I read on a website that when you go to battle in FFXI, you won't be able to control your attack (Basic atttack) the computer does it for you. If thats the truth I don't really like that, I like having the control.

What do you guys think?

Dont forget the one that started it all UO. Oh and I like it because you what if I cant hit attack as fast as someone else? Its a very fair proposal.

the "autoattack" is a good system because in a realtime world, such as mmorpg are, your attacks should be based on the char. abilities not who can push a button faster.

I've seen this system used again and again in different games. I have no problem with this at all, your going to be doing a lot of things at the same time so not being about to attack manually at the same time is somewhat of a good thing.

Phantasy Star Online controlers were hard when you have to do many different things at once.

One example is going to the item menu and run from the attack at the same time. When your in the item menu, you are left open and you have to run around with the analog stick... WHILE selecting the item you need to use with the control-pad. I found my self in near-death situations and is really a big waste of items.

I'll be able to chat with the keyboard and attack freely at the same time. No more hit then type... then hit.... then type..... then hit... then your on another topic already, delete what you wrote, hit the enemy then type something else.

So, I have no problem with it, I find it to be an advantage.

yea in UO or DAoC they used this system and you would be doing 4 things while attacking.
