FOB is actually pretty decent, imo, but, I don't think I'd be doing cartwheels over a new release from them. When Dream Theater comes out with a new album ,then I'll do cartwheels.

Fall Out Boy is probably the most unoriginal, derivitive, talentless waste of radio waves I have ever heard in my life. To make matters even worse, they are the biggest dicks in the music business. I had the unfortunate opportunity to go on the road with them for a week a few years ago. They are militant straight-edge wannabes, that take pride in trying to force their views on other people. All four people in my band got so sick of them by the second day, nobody would talk to them. They single-handedly killed the scene with their uninspired songs and their "rock star" attitude.

I agree. They seem like a bunch of little punks, and the lead singer is just horrible. If you have ever heard him live it makes me want to cut my ears off with scissors. And like you said, they are wannabes.

Fucking hell. Well I suppose they sort of are as some of their lyrics deal with lost love but they tend to do it in a very, very dignified way (though I can only think of one song which is actually personal to Mikael Akerfeldt and that's 'To Bid You Farewell') and just can't be put in a simple genre like 'emo' not to mention that the styles are Universes apart.

I was working at a My Chemical Romance show tonight and I had a couple of hearty laughs with a co-worker to the crowds expense. The guy I was working with took a smoke break at one point and he said a kid came up to him and started telling him how his life in the suburbs was meaningless but that he was going to move to the city soon so that he can have purpose. (This fan was also probably about 16, very overwiegh,t and had tears and blood painted on his face).

Fallout Boy sucks. Period.
