What was your favorite part of FF7?

Mine was when Sephiroth stabed Aeris in the City of the Ancients. Also the last battle THAT WAS SO FREAKIN ALSOM!

My favourite part was seeing the weapons for the first time. I thought they were the coolest.

Or not necessarily when Aerith dies, but when she dissapears after the temple of the ancients. All the small events after were foreshadowing something bad, and it kept me on edge. Then it dissapointed me, cause I used Aerith.

When i used the Choco/Mog summon and for the first time got "Fat Chocobo"

Best summon ever.

Well the only thing i have to say about using Aeris on your team is - y?

Personaly i think she is a useless character!

Ive always used females on my team in any RPG Ive played. I liked girls in games better than any others when I was a kid,lol.
And after awhile you get used to her support type character I guess.
Her limits rock if you get her leveled enough before she dies.
I also have always liked that name.
And I always used to be drawn towards using the characters who seemed the most important to storyline.
But this was all back in 97,you know,except the part where I still use women as characters in games.
But now I appreciate real women ALOT more,partially cause I have to,lol.

I enjoyed that Motorbike mini-game whilst escaping Midgar.

Controls were a little sloppy though.

Aquiring 'Knights of round' was satisfying.

My favourite part is when you first get Vincent, and just everything about him, using him, getting his new Limit Breaks, unravelling his past. Everything about Vincent is awesome and I am soo pissed off they have left him out of both Kingdom Hearts games...

<3 The Snowboarding games. But my favorite part would be the battle arena. I cant tell you how many hours ive spent in there. Not to get omnislash or anything, but just to pass time. Sooo fun.

Weapon Attacking upper junon was amazing ! My Fav Part of the Game playing would be the story part with cloud and tifa in there home town, trying to catch septherioth.

My fave part was using the Highwind to find the Knights of the Round Materia on the secret island near the Ice Region, It was amazing to use in battle. ^_^

I have many favourites but the most nostalgic was probably the most popular - that being Aerith's death. I wasn't shocked, but I liked the battle with Jenova because it's like no other I have seen. The music is so memorable and beautiful that I couldn't ever forget it. Also, the aftermath I found tear-jerky of what Cloud says:

"Aerith is gone. Aerith will no longer talk, no longer laugh, cry...... or get angry...... What about us...... what are WE supposed to do?
What about my pain? My fingers are tingling. My mouth is dry. My eyes are burning!"

Because the words are bold and meaningful unlike Sephiroth's plan of domination which is meaningless because all that matters is love.

I'm with Enya on this one, but another very memorable scene was the "Interrupted by Fireworks" dialogue between Cloud and Aeris/Tifa at the Gold Saucer. Beautiful music.

Ahah i actually change my mind the best parts wasat the start hanging around midgar. Alot of fun and alot of wierd quest like dressing cloud up as a women to get into Dons mansion. :D

But best cut seen is weapon attacking junon, or weapon attacking midgar.

I have to agree with seeing the Weapons for the first time. When you see the EYE BALL moving around and then all of them bust out. It is SO FLIPPIN' SWEET. Over all though, I like the whole game and just using materia and finding everything and just playing the game I Just Love It.

When Sephiroth's killed Aeris, that scene it's so sad, one tear go out of my eye when I read what Cloud's says after Sephiroth used his sword agaist Aeris T_T (that I don't remember well =Z)
And when I fought with any boss, it's not my favorite scene but I love the boss battle music 8D. And weapons too.

As for the thread, I really enjoyed the part where you go to the North pole to meet Sephiroth, and then Cloud delivers the Black Materia. The whole story parts and dialogs were great there.

my favorite part of final fantasy vii you say? i LOVE it when the Sapphire Weapon attacks junon... the tension... the music... the graphics.. it's like......WOAH... i even saved a file there.. so i can se it over and over again...

I have a lot of moments that I really liked.

The various scenes of the Weapons as they awaken or attack.

The heart touching scene when Aeris is slain, and they let her drift off into the water. The whole game took on a new meaning for me after that. It became a matter of revenge.

Finding the various things/people needed to breed the best Chocobos. And then defeating the Black Rider at Gold Saucer.

All of the hidden goodies, like the Knights of the Round Table (Yes I know it is abbreviated from this for the game...stupid programming. They shouldn't worry about added script). The various armaments, too.

Discoverying that Ungarmax did more damage than Catastrophe.

I liked the parts where you are unleashed into the big world map and realize the freedom you have for the most part. I also loved when you first fight weapon.

I would say the whole Midgar scenario was the best part of the game.

I loved the game too much, and I still love it too much...

My favourite parts were running away from that rocket-village [sorry I forgot the name]. Rufus welcome ceremony, Shin-Ra stuff, meeting Vince at the Shin-Ra mansion, the memories of occurings at Nibelheim, Aerith`s death was cool too, and the intro was so awsome! Last Battle was just as awsome as everything, and everything was just so awsome that I can`t pick up the most or least favourite parts!

After you first leave Midgar and are presented with the World Map. The game took on a change after that, that I will never forget.

Cloud giving Sephiroth the black materia and then the weapon awakening for the first time. I just love that scene.
Also, anything involving Cosmo Canyon, the music is fantastic.

I don't have a favorite part. It was all great. But i can say my most memorable part. The first time i fought Sephiroth.

I guess, for the most part you can say i was unprepared. Characters were barely at level 50. And i spent most of the fight using potions on everyone to keep them alive. And then out of no where A summon spell called "Super Nova" pops up on my screen. At this point i just put my controller down on the floor and watched the show. It Was the most amazing summon I've ever seen and I'll never forget all the planets in the solar system being destroyed just to kill little old me. lol. FF7 was my first and best RPG experience to date.

Aeris' death was more of an experience then i was expecting out of a video game. A single tear fell from my left eye.

I remembered the place... In Gongaga... When Cloud talked to Zack`s parents, and when they asked about Zack Cloud couldn`t tell that Zack is dead... Man I`m still mourning for Zack`s death... I thought I finally stopped that but when Crisis Core went out... It all started again...

When Sephiroth is in the party (although the story dragged on a bit in Kalm) and the jenova bosses (great music).

The ONLY way (besides GameShark) to get KoTR was by breeding a Gold Chocobo.

Sure, you could 'FIND' where KoTR is, but you can't 'ACQUIRE' it without a Gold Chocobo.

Diamond is the one you're referring to, methinks.

Also, Sapphire getting its head blown apart. A rare moment of liberating violence in an otherwise mediocre game.

Probably the part where Cloud has to dress like a woman. Despite finding FF7 to be a disappointing game in many ways later on, I did find those scenes pretty funny at the time!

My Favorite parts Were When The Weapons First Appeared and When I Beat Emerald Weapon For The First Time

Every part of the game was wonderful.
But i liked the end, after defeating Seph, when every one was waiting for the highwind and Cid said:
"Lady luck dont fail me now"
Now that was tight.

LoL there's a lot of votes for the appearances of Weapon.

I loved fighting them as opposed to seeing them.

-Ultima for its awesome attacks and sound effects.
-Emerald for the sheer terror of rounding a corner underwater and seeing it stare at you... then Aire Tam Storm, aah, surviving that every time is sooo satisfying...
-Ruby because you have to fight as one character each time, so you need new strategies, as well as perfect timing and materia set-up. A bit of luck never hurts either.
-Diamond because I love seeing that huge mo'fo buckle under torrent after torrent of powerful magic.
-Sapphire... very very disappointing that you don't get to fight it...

Have I missed any?

Favourite part... The whole game was pretty fucking kickass but if I had to choose...

When you escape Midgar on a motorcycle and battle that robocycle. Fun stuff.

My favorite part/s in FFVII:

1.Just at the end of disc two outside the Highwind with a specail Cloud and Tifa moment <3. That was so cute ^^.
2.The Interupted by Fireworks scene. I usally always have Cloud date Tifa at that part, but sometimes just to do something different I'll get him to go with Yuffie or Barret, those were so funny XD. Once in a blue moon I'll have him go with Aerith.
3.Any of the parts when Aerith and Tifa go off and have what looks like a girly chat (seen when the party splits up at Junon and Cosmo Canyon)
4.The last FMV with Cloud and Tifa at the end.
5.In the Lifestream where Tifa helps Cloud get his memories back.
6.The FMVs with the Weapons (all emerald, ruby, diamond, ultimate)
7.The Sleeping Forrest part was cool too.

The one where Cid smacks his ho around, and the part where Cait Sith gets naked :D

Yeah that part is cool. I think any of the parts with the Weapons are pretty rad.

If it's any FFVII dreams I get about these days, it usually has to do with the Weapons XD.
