If you could help me then I'd be very thankful. I'm stuck at Dreadnought Leviathan and I'm about to fight a Mage, 2 judges, and 3 knights. All my characters are inbetween levels 7 and 8.

I was thinking about giving Bolthier the potions to automatically give my other characters potion once they've hit below 70 hp. I was also going to go after the Mage first, then then the nights, then then the Judges. I've also hav'nt bought the Libra and Cure because I did'nt know what it was at the time.

Does that sound like a good plan?

I need something explained to me. Even though the characters names are broadcasted in front of people consistantly and pronouced correctly, they still manage to spell them wrong?

Balthier*

and it sounds like a jolly plan, just don't make a thread for every trash group you can't kill.

Iono.. you're only lvl 8? That might be why you're having some issues.

god I hate Twilight...
my advice: if you can go back, then do it and lvlup a little... it's true that levels are not that important in this game, except for hp and mp upgrades, but lv7-8 is pushing it..
ohh and about the plan, everytime i'm in trouble, I take the one that does most damage first, and in this case it would mean the jugde, unless the mage has multiple-objective attacks, making him the most dangerous one, and don't gambit the potions, use them manually when you feel you really need them (use wait style for this)

Alright I used my plan and won.

My characters are levels 9-10

and I'm going against the main Boss Judge right now.

I managed to kill the three swordsmen and got the main Judge half way down.

Any ideas on who to use first and how to kill them?

And is 9-10 level good enough?

To Ubernoob------ well first of all when i first went against that boss all my characters were at least at level 16. Second Libra is usless..... but cure, thats one of the things you really need. you COULD still beat the boss even without cure i just sugest to go fight all the enemies you can to gain some LP and EXP. And when your fighting judge Ghis, kill all of the knights first and then kill the judge. And if you have any quickenings use them against he judge he will die quicker. As soon as he uses aero go back away and either potion up everyone or cure them. The battle took me about 3 minutes and i was at lvl 16 (everyone) and yea thats basiclly it.

Crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going to have to start all over again!

Noob = No quickening, no Aero, no level ups, no anything........Thanks everyone but I'm going to start a new file and this time I'm going to do it right.

yeah.. Abe123 makes it sound difficult.. you could do it his way.. nothing wrong with it.

Or you can just go in with a bad ass quickening chain and whoop his ass before you can spell bobsyouruncle. Seriously.... one quickening can just about kill him and everything around him.

i just like to have my party high in everything. like i never go fight a boss until ive trained for a while. Final Fantasy 7 taught me to train as much as you can. i donno but thats just how i am i liek to go crazy :p

Oh I do the same. I Just don't fight the boss battles like you do. When I fought judge ghis and even Bergan, all I did was use a quickening on them and killed em both. FFIV is what taught me to do that......(the grinding thing that is)

Alright I started over and now I just escaped prison and Penolo has just been kidnapped.

I still don't have my Quickening but I do have my Libra.

Here's how it's going now.

Hp 200-300
Lp. all my characters have inbetween 100 and 200

Where do I get my quickening? and when?

Where and When did you guys get yours?

if you look on the board use the cursor over the tiles and you'll see where the quickenings are. Personally I think you really need the strat guide, because they tell you where everything is. All libra does is tell you monster stats.

Final Fantasy 7 taught me to train as much as you can.

I remember one place where you had to push the alarm button to fight extra powerful enemies that gave you lots of exp and ap, near the submarine.. you know that place..

yea i remeber dtpena that was a good place to gain exp. and another thing is if you go into the north crater you cant get out so you have to be well prepared before you fight jenova and sephiroth.........anyways dtpena did you finish final fantasy 12? if not where are you..

I beat Ghis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so happy! I did'nt even need to fight him.

I used Vaans, Bacshs, and Balthier's quickenings in a combo! bam he was down!

When i get back to Dalmasca I need to level up to at least 13 or 14.

Thanks everyone for helping a noob like me.
