There are two things here. One sections leads to one download that will download both discs together. The songs inside that certain folder is not sorted. Just do a google search on Tales of Phantasia OST and you'll get the tracklist very easily. The second download, has it seperated into two discs.

Is this OST for the SFC version? or is it one of the remakes? (PSX, GBA)

This SHOULD be the version from SNES or SFC version. I know it's definitely not the GBA version. I'm not too sure on the PSX one though...I'm pretty positive it is the SNES one since it has a more older feeling to it I guess? Haha, sorry I can't be of help.

The music on the SFC version actually sounds really good, close to PSX quality to me at least IMHO (I've yet to play the PSX version though >_<)

@cstrike0777: Yes, well I just played the SNES version again, just zooming pass stuff on ZSNES, and they sound the same. I have the GBA ToP so I know it's not the GBA version. Like you, I have never played the PSX version, so I can't offer a comparison there. Yes, when I heard the music for Tales of Phantasia the first time I played it, I was amazed. Some games on the PSX, the music, doesn't even come close to ToP in quality. But if it's the PSX, Chrono Cross has to have the most amazing music! IMHO ^_^

PSX ports of SNES games always have FAR worse audio quality. The snes version of this game is the one to play. I would like to voice my sadness in that there is not enough remix coverage of this game's music. I think the overworld music in this series puts final fantasy's to shame. Especially final act. I couldn't believe how insanely powerful that was. Good upload.

actually contrary to what you think . audio quality of top for the psx is far superior to the inferior snes version.

Just to clarify with everyone here, this soundtrack is from the PSP version of Tales of Phantasia, not the SNES, or PS1 version. I have both, and checked.
The sound quality is pretty much as good as the PS1 version though.
