Mercanary

(female merc pic) a mercanary is a close combat character who uses swords and axes, I recomend first time players try something other then merc. Merc have the ability to block attacks and raise attack powers with skills also have deadly chain combos. at level 60 Mercanary you can become either...

--Knight

To make a knight, You must have ALOT of PATIENCE, as a Merc you will relise Knights arent fast fighters but have a HEAVY defence. And knight have Cloud Strife style swords, Big and BADAS. These characters are good guild leaders. These characters are the best AOE characters and also have a PAIN REFLECT move which times the damage you take by 1.5 and hits it back to the enemy.
Knight build is usally: STR/STA

--Blade(Sin)

A Blade is like a sin two swords at a time, More DEX(speed) then power, these guys can take down a higher level monster in about 2 to three seconds while the knight can take a higher level monster down in 10..
Recomended for a first time.

Mage

A Mage uses a wand or a staff, Wand mages can use sheilds and add to defence, while staff mages use one non element spell which is the first spell you gain. and 5 other element spells. These guys I recomend for a First timer trying game out as they kill fast.
Elementor build: Sta/Int
Psy/Int build: Int/Sta

If your a psy, your joy must include degrading others to nearly nothing, Psys usally are called 'debuffers' but to most others they are 'Dont hurt them they reflect everything you hit by 2 times of the damage you did' or 'they stun you to the ground then blast u til you dai' Psys are quite uniqe and can have so many builds, Think before you become a psy.
and Psys get demonic horns later on..
Psys use Wands and Sheilds.

Elementors, the second best aoe people. These guys are the MASTERS of Elements, they can hit over 4000 damage with one aoe and have a long range attack which means by the time the monsters near you, its dead.
Eles are also very classy and end up wearing suits and FFX2 looking gear (yuna's dress sphere, gunner kinda)
Eles use staffs. usally are a sta/int build.

Assists

Assists are the healers, Buffers and people who use giant knuckles of doom.
=/ all depends on what class your going to be after, if your more into smashing things to a pulp with a knuckle like tifa... choose a Dex/Str/Sta build. or if you want to AOE (Yes Assists get an AOE) str/sta build.
Oh and assists first gear is pink.. But they look badas later on.
Assists use STICKS(like wands but healerlike)
and Knuckles+Sheilds.

Most Males go billposters and really, Why wouldnt they, their the only class with ABS really but they do get kick ass moves, these guys are some of the hardests to beat in PvP and also make good guild leaders. once again these guys can be two builds.
Str/Dex
or Str/Sta
As at another level these guys get a good aoe's too.
This class uses Knuckle+Sheild and can self Buff using Stick.

Ringmaster's lifes are Power levels.. These guys dont need to fight, they Buff, Heal and follow. if your more into talking then training this is a good class as learned by experence...
Ringmasters only need a Stick
Usally PURE INT build.

Acrobats

Ah the acrobat.. mages worst enemy... well anyones worst enemy, being able to go invisible and stike you from anywhere these guys are pretty annoying to kill, Acrobat is just an archer.. or a Yoyo-master
Like RO you can buy Arrows, But only as a ranger can u use them as elements...
Acrobats usally have a
Dex/Sta/Str build
As I said Bow and arrows, or two yoyo's which are really more like boomerangs of death.

The swift and nimble ranger has two speeds: Walk, and kill!

Mage/Psy/Ele Vs Ranger = Mage/psy/ele get pwnd.
Dex/Str/Sta builds these guys get pretty good aoe's as well.

Jesters use yoyo's two of them and their main ability is STUNNING. before you go to attack one you'll find yourself dead or stunned and on 1hp. These guys are very sneaky and can stun kill any class.

You just might have posted all that for little, if not for nil, apropos. Just seems superfluous displaying and elaborating on the classes. Doesn't seem to allure me, espeically by dispelling curiosity. I hope for the best, though... =|

i tried this game out back when i was looking for an mmo to fill the void of the malaisian and global RYL going P2P. i didn't like it much. i got to lvl 5 and got bored. i've tried so many to help fill the void. the longest one that worked best for me ended up being a 2d mmo called Maplestory. it was great for like a good solid year. i was addicted like a nigga on crack. it was great. lol good times.

and then i got fking lucky and found out they made ryl2 and that its free and will PROBABLY remain free. i just went to heaven that day. lol. but maple sucked most of the mmo addiction i had already out of me so i only played for like a month. i did end up having like 7 mid lvl chars in ryl though so i had my fun.


anyway. thanks for posting this. i know i'm a little jaded now and have been through the mmo phase twice already (once in 2k3 and again in 2k5-2k6 [yah i'm new to them]) so right now i'm sick of it and can't even force myself anymore. but i hope if others decide to join in that they have fun. most of the time its just knowing someone inside to help you get through the begining at first. after that, your addicted on your own. lol that's why i tried inviting everyone i knew into maple so i can stay addicted some time longer. lol

i love the style flyff has. as always, the art is like tons better than actual in game gfx but it ain't bad. i love cutesy mmo's a lot. i'm still waiting for nostale's site to start working so i can try it out.

I played for a little. The game doesn't lie about being constant grinding, which is a shame because when given the illusion you're doing something more than grinding, the game ends up being more fun. I was an Acrobat at levle 20 or 21 when I quit because I was bored and, with almost the best equipment at that level, I couldn't even kill the mobs I had to grind to level on on my own.

I'm worth 170 mil atm.


Also, it takes a while to get the jist of the game. Thats why a lot of people get turned off playing this game for the first time.

Also Also, the Economy is fucked up because of Cash Shop items.

You can also find me on Mushpoie with my level 38 Acro. Gonna get it to level 60 in probably 2-3 weeks soon once I hit level 90 with my Blade on Aibatt. I need money though because I'm piss poor.

They're the most hated class. Yoyo Jesters used to be the IT, now its BOW Jesters.

They rely only on Dark Illusion, Perfect Block and Bow Mastery.

Pure Dex Jester = PvM and some PvP ownage.

vs Psy they suck. All they're attacks involve physical attacks so Crucio owns them.

They always need an RM at their side or else they suck.
