1) This is in the wrong section. This belongs in General Gaming, at least.

2) This is complete bullshit. It's not coming out at the same time as the US and Japan, because it always takes longer to do the translation for European territories.

But like FurY said, if you can't wait for the PAL release, just import it. The DS is region free, so the American version will work in your DS. That's what I plan on doing.

That's so rude! What kind of retardation do you have since you're being such a dimwit?

Anyways, but what they said was true! Just import it. :)

I would be more worried about the prospect of PAL not getting Xenosaga Episode III then FFIII: DS.

I just got a DS Lite, is it worth importing FF3? I mean, is it really good enough to spend the cash?

I never really get why people ask these sort of questions on a public opinion forum.

If you want to know if it's worth the cash, check out the previews on sites like IGN.

Also, importing to Australia used to be cheaper in most cases than buying the game locally. Until Sony ran Lik-Sang out of business :(

I've been to IGN, and last time I checked, this forum was called FFShrine. We're talking about Final Fantasy 3 aren't we?

Still, you asked a subjective question. You won't get any kind of useful answer. Hell, even i'm divided. The Final Fantasy fan in me is saying "Final Fantasy III in 3D? Of course it's worth any money!"

But in the end, it's only a NES game in 3D. The gameplay will undoubtedly feel dated, even in spiffy new clothes.

See see :-P It was only an opinion I wanted from those who actually know what Final Fantasy is all about. I suppose though, I should have mentioned I'm in the UK so I'm going to have to fork out a bit more for it with the import charge (hence the question) ;)

You shouldn't have to pay too much if you find a decent importer. US games are cheaper than European games, so even with shipping costs, it ends up about even.

For example, an average DS game over here costs AU$70. I used to be able to get a game from Lik-Sang for AU$50 with free surface shipping (though that takes a month for delivery) or AU$70 via express air. If you know someone who lives in the US, it's even easier and cheaper.

All those 'import games shops' that try to charge you twice the price just because it's imported are ripping you off.
