If you have more than one counter attack materia on a character they will counter attack for each one you have on o_O... (It's madness, seriously) You can get who knows, 10 or more hits per hit against you? Depending on the slots.

If you ignore the Battle zone until the third disk it is insanely easy... (heh... oops)

Marlene is in Kalm during the end, but whenever you go there to the very tower she looks out of, you won't find her. Even if it is the last thing you do before going after Sephiroth. o_O Makes me wonder....

Don Corneo never found a wife. O_o and his choosing Yuffie over Elena disturbs me. (though, his entire character is disturbing, agreed)

Umm, maybe. But if you pay attention, a few Guards will be talking near the Tower in Sector 7. They're talking about Loveless. It's some kind of play. As for Limit break...iunno, seems familiar. Whos is it?

I share your pain, Aeris. Aeris was truly the best female character in any FF (besides Garnet), and she deserved to come back to life and kill Sephiroth for what he had done. Curse you, Square, for being so lazy :p

If you name Red XIII "Nanaki", when you go to Cosmo Canyon for the first time everybody is still confused because they learn that Red XII's name is Nanaki..

FACT-
Cloud actually didn't make it to Soldier 1st Class. Zack did.

Test 0 is an enemy in the Japanese version of the game and gives u a lot of Exp and Ap as well as Gil. But it was removed in the American game as well for the UK.

These facts AREN'T Random and unknown, and most of them are important parts of the game (ie Lucrecia/Hojo being Sephiroth's parents). You guys need more random things, because I found not one of these things that I didn't know.

Anyway, Aeris never comes back, not even in the Japanese ending. There are no second and third endings in Japanese. The US and UK version are more complete than the Japanese version. There were two PLANNED endings, but neither had anything to do with Aeris. They just were designed for each extra character - One for Vincent, one for Yuffie, and one (the one we get) without them. If you had them both, it'd randomly choose. As you can see, neither of them are present in the ending movie that we are provided in the final release of FF7.

Loveless is a play. Cid went to see it, and he slept through all of it except for the end. Talk to Cid when he's on the highwind (this is during Disc 2 I believe, after Diamond WEAPON attacks) and he'll tell you about his experience there. He saw it when he was in Midgar attending Pilot school.

Sephiroth's father was Hojo. He proposed that Lucrecia (his lab assistant) have a child that would then be subjected to Mako and JENOVA. Vincent (Lucrecia's secret love and a member of the Turks) intervened, so Hojo shot him, injected him with monster cells, and imprisoned him in the Shinra mansion. He then impregnated Lucrecia (rather it was rape or not is unknown), injected Sephiroth with JENOVA cells when he was still in the womb, and then subjected him to increased aging in a Mako maturation pod. It is not know rather Vincent is a vampire or not. Chances are he's not.

Loveless is not a limit break. You're getting confused with Tifa's items. Her final weapon is "Premium Heart" and her final limit break is "Seventh Heaven." Loveless is, as I said before, a play.

Cid canceled the launch. He did it to protect Shera, who was a scientist working on the Oxygen tanks by the burners. Had he gone through with it, the ambient temperature in the room she was in would have climbed to fatal levels, and she'd have died of heat stroke or something. This isn't hard to miss - the game only spends about 10 - 20 game time minutes discussing it (sheesh).

JENOVA wasn't an ancient - she was the original "crises from the sky," or so referred to by the Cetra (the actual ancients). She came down and caused the great impact near the Knowelspole, thus damaged the planet immensely. She originally made friends with the ancients only to stab them in the back and corrupt their minds whilst they were busy cultivating the Planet. The Cetra have no real magical powers to "Heal" the Planet, rather they are able to cultivate the land through crops and other conventional means which helps the Planet HEAL ITSELF. JENOVA was eventually confined by the Cetra once they realized she was destroying their minds and turning them against each other. The Cetra, unfortuantely, succumbed to a violent disease that JENOVA unleashed upon them in her final hours, and many died. Thus the Cetra were left teetering on the verge of extinction (at least on Planet or whatever; see threads "Evil Theory *Spoilers*" and "Orb Theory *Spoilers*" for increased insight on the Cetra. I haven't compiled the Cetra stuff yet). Go to the Icicle Inn. In the city there, there is a house which Gast and Ifalna stayed in. Look at the tapes. That will tel you alot. Also, pay more attention in game because many of these facts occur at seemingly random points.


Facts That Actually ARE Generally Unknown

Rude is named rude because he acts rude. He consistantly refuses to speak, and in most cultures this lack of conversational habit is considered rude. Hence his name.

Rufus is named rufus because his hair is red. Rufus is derived from the word for "red" in latin.

JENOVA is named JENOVA because it is a deliberate misspelling of the word Yehovah, which derives from Yahew (or YHWH). Yahew is hebrew for "God," in the Old Testament of the Bible.

If you purposely currupt your game saves through a gameshark CDX (some codes will say it is corrupted unless they are turned off), you can merge your games together. (Don't try this, it may be just a fluke, but I swear on my LIFE I'm not lying here). I did this, and ended up starting off with my best game (right at the Northern Crater) on the first level. That is to say, I had started a "new game," but my characters were all lvls 80-90, had their final limit breaks, best weapons, and all their materia, as well as items and stuff. What I did was corrupt my best file, back out, and then go to "new game." That's how I did it. I KOR the scorpion boss and then spent a long time letting myself get beat up until I got omnislash ready and then I used that on Rufus. I laughed my ass off. Unfortuantely, the game freezes up in Kalm, and I haven't found a way to bypass this... Oh well, it's good for some laughs in Midgar and the World map!

Final Fantasy VII is my obsession in life, that's why I love to do some sort of research from many kinds of sources, and as far as I know, this is not just a fan-fic, this is a make sense speculation that the biological parents of Sephiroth were Vincent and Lucretia, if you have one of Final Fantasy VII Compilation: Dirge of Cerberus, there are some flashback memories of the togetherness of Vincent and Lucretia, and on one of the scene you can see that they spend some of time together beneath the tree in some sort of private picnic, by looking carefully at the items in the basket picnic, you can see that there is a bottle of red wine there, you see that everything could happen in some sort of that romantic and private situation, not to mention that they are really love each other. Lucretia could not bear the guilt by the truth that Vincent is the son of person that she respect the most, Grimoire Valentine, who died while he was protecting her, and this forced her to leave Vincent, and accepted Hojo marriage proposal, there are so many speculation that Lucretia was already pregnant by Vincent's son at the moment, and at the same time Hojo need the fetus to be one of his new experiments, that's why he proposed her, because he needed woman with fetus, not because Hojo love her. Hojo then injected that fetus by Jenova cells to satisfy his 'mad-scientist' ambitions, that child was born as Sephiroth. Try to compare the face, the eyes, and the nose shape of Sephiroth and Vincent, both of them have exactly the same, there's possibility that this is not merely a speculation without any basic. Vincent anger to Hojo while he figured that Hojo injected the fetus inside Lucretia womb, which make him attacked Hojo so furiously, forgetting the ethic code of profession that Turks member are not allowed to disobey any commands given by Shinra scientist (Vincent was previously worked as the Turks and assigned to be Lucretia protector) can be one of the proof that Vincent was more than just a bodyguard to Lucretia and he was emotionally related to the fetus. Vincent words while he was unable to prevent Hojo from doing some sort of mad experiment to the fetus and make Lucretia suffering from her abnormal pregnancy which made her collapsed so easily was: "That was my sins...." could be the another proof since this can be the confessions that he was related to all of these at the first place. This question had been asked to Nobue Uematsu several times and also to Square Enix website but the answer was same when they were asked about Cloud real love intention, Tifa or Aerith, they merely answer it simple that they left it for the fans of Final Fantasy to decide which side are they where they meet this ambiguous speculation, because as long as their fans still discuss the matter, their love to Final Fantasy will also grow bigger, they don't want to be some sort of 'film-maker' and make sure the end on everything because they don't want to ruin every speculation which can be their fans fantasy, such a very clever answer, in my opinion. Afterall, this is what I got from my own research, as the one who happily obsessed with Final Fantasy VII with all the compilations, and also by involving my own sensitivity as girl, I do realize that others might have different opinions with other supporting proof.

Such an old thread.

Firstly, I'm sorry for not dealing with this before as I've been indisposed the last few days.

Goddess the stench of this undead thread is overwhelming - this predated my original join date it's that old. Although I don't mind if someone does actually revive a really old thread only if there's something really relevant and interesting to say. But in this case, fanfic-based ramblings and flames do not count. So, back to the digital grave you go!
