I went to my local GameStop to pay off my reserve and because there were so many hundered(s) on reserves, they are having a midnight release. It looks as though they'll be shipping before the 31st. I'm not sure if this applies to all stores and store locations, but at least this location will have the game on time. The funny thing is the manager, Debbra, tried telling me in order to participate you have to come in cosplay but she was actualy joking. I tried calling her on that but she wouldn't tell me the truth untill I agreed to come in cosplay. Now I'm going to have to come in cosplay anyway just to moch her, any suggestions?

WELL>> i got my collectors edition FFXII strat guide/Art book. Pretty bad ass i might say. I got the cover with Fran on the front of the guide book. If you didn't get or didn't plan on getting the strat guide. I must say.. it's an awesome book. Weighing in at about 6 pounds lol. Seriously it's huge.

I preordered the spec ed strategy guide and the game but what upsets me is, on the way to the train I stopped at a local game store around my old neighborhood in Brooklyn new york, and guess what I see? The game is already being sold. If it werent for my full paid pre order I would be playing it now.

I held the game in my hands and it was not a bootleg. Ive shopped there for yrs and Ive never seen a bootleg game there. Some stores do break release date and I did call gamestop and they said its shipping.

Well... I'll tell ya. Having the liscense board available really helps out how I wanna make my character. I had NOOO idea that there were Katana's Great Katana's, Maces and even measuring tools (like calculators in FFT) in the game. I think that's awesome. That really makes me rethink how I wanna build my party.

I swear I think I'm going to make Bashe use the Genji armor with a great katana. The book says that there is potential for that kind of combo to do more damage than any other weapon. Since I was going ot make him pure melee anyway.. i figure that would be pwnage. Either that or bust him out with that Ultima Great Sword. OMFG.. looks so awesome.

I especially love the history of the espers. Especially Cuchulainn and Chaos. All I can say is.. this game is going to rock. End of Story.

Dude, now I know why so many japanes say this game is "too hard". I can't wait! I've been waiting for a challange for a while. The only 2 FF's that really gave me a challange was FF6 and Tactics. I wouldn't be suprised if this replaces FF6 as my all-time favorite FF game. And yes, the story on the Espers rule!

It's ok, no need to be sorry. It's the $30 version that has 1 of 6 random covers and includes an art book. I posted a picture of mine a page back.

It is here in San Jose California, that much I know for sure. Some places may be different, depends on the store and how many presales they got. Gamestop and EBGames (same company) seem to be pretty consistent and it looks like they are doing it everywhere.

Called ebgames last night they told me if I wont make it to release to head to the store at 9 am. I get there at 9:05 and they tell me that they are not going to open till 10 urgh. So I wait, get the game go home and play for about 7 and a half hours straight. I just got off the game I and I must say that I really like it alot. I got caught up doing alot of the side missions and leveling up a bit. I did 3 missions from the bar. And I think I left off lvl 9. I have to get used to getting an item and not being able to equip it right away though lol . Loving it!!!!!!! Cant wait till I play again.
