Generally, I don't like Final Fantasy games too much anymore, but I remember playing FF7 in particular as a kid. Hell, it was the first playstation game I owned when I got one all those years ago. When I beat it, I realized something.
I can be like Cloud Strife if I trained really hard!
So I got out my dad's weights and begun to work out. To lift a sword like that, I gotta be REALLY STRONG! ^_^
After a while of working out and running, I remembered that Cloud was infused with Mako to make him stronger. OH BOY! That could really speed up this boring weight lifting process! So I went to my local Jr. Science Labs and asked them were I could find some liquid Mako because I had no convenient outlet near my house, and I didn't have a big enough shovel to find some.
The man there stood there trying to understand why I had really come, then he began to laugh this evil laugh like Sephiroth used to make! This EVIL, CANIVING LAUGH THAT WILL PIERCE YOUR SOUL LIKE THE MASAMUNE!
Angry, I left the store, dreaming of how I could kill him once I got a strong as Cloud!
After asking around alot, nobody seemed to know where to get any Mako. Some people didn't even know WHAT Mako Energy or Cloud was!
COME ON PEOPLE! WELCOME TO THE 21st CENTURY!! Sometimes I wonder at humanity's future....
So anyway, seeing as I couldn't get any Mako, I continued the weight excercises. Then I realized even with all this strength I would have, I wouldn't have a BIG AND COOL SWORD WITH MATERIA HOLES IN IT to fight with! I would have to use my fists like Tifa (EWWWW GIRLS!)!!
My papa had some cool looking wood lying around in the backyard, so I asked him to cut it up into the Buster Sword. He asked me why I wanted a sword that big, but I said I was going to be as strong as Cloud Strife and he went off, saying something about puberty or something. I don't know what that means, but I think it has something to do with how cool Cloud is ^_^
A few months later, I began to notice my muscles getting bigger. Not only that, I was getting some hair where the was none before (LIKE ON MY BALLS!). I KNEW the excercises would work!
About that time, my dad had finally finished my sword. It looked just like the real thing, too!
After a week of training, my muscles were getting tired from all the work I'd been doing, so I decided to take a breather and go into the city with my dad. When we got to the mall, I jumped across the parking lot in 50 big strides! A NEW RECORD!
Then I saw this girl standing outside the mall entrance. My god, she was SO pretty. Then I noticed my wiener had hardened up. Man, I guess this is why Cloud is so nervous around Tifa!
I walked up to her and we started talking. I invited her back to my house, and a few days later, she showed up at my door to have dinner with me and my parents. Man, I am so cool!
In the days before, I had prepared an outfit JUST like Clouds to impress my newfound wife. The plan was originally like this: Take her home, have dinner, then after dinner I would surprise her by holding my Buster Sword and my uniform on.
I invited her to my room after supper, and told her to wait there. I went to get my uniform and sword, and took my sword with me. All dressed up, I walked in the door of my room, saying to her "Ma'am, your eyes glow like the Mako of a million Midgar reactors...Will you take me to be your loving husband for the rest of your life, putting your safety into my extra tough arms, with which is the only way I'm able to carry this immensely big sword?!"
She apparently didn't know what to say. She said she had to go home for a while, and that she would call soon.
It's been 8 years, and she still hasn't called, but I guess she's just busy or something. She'll call. She's my future wife!
....Do I qualify for best FF thread?
