Battle Omega and survive his Terra Break without the need of summoning GFs, Invulnerbility, Limit-Breaks, or even the Item command!

This video clip shows how it's done... and the Lads make Omega look like an untamed kitten. ;)

Check it out on YouTube.... here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxe02kWbrgI)

Kinda sick... lv 31 Irvine? Like the builds though, That Zell is kinda like mine, except for mine has higher strenght, better weapon and is lv 99... Mine has attack, counter skill, and auto protect, along with str. +60%, basically like this one...

In FF8, all undead creatures had a stronger resistance to physical attacks. So my guess is that Zombie causes the skin to harden like one of them.

It's one of the side-effects/bonuses of Zombie, which I'm now forever grateful for :D

Wow, you really seem to have a great grip of some of the more detailed complexities of Final Fantasy VIII. I never had any idea that you could use Zombie status in that way.

That was sweet. You have it figured out nicely. Also, the text boxes made me smile. :)

hey sacrednic, i was wondering, did you have expend x 3 - 1 on squall or irvine? i don't think it said so when you listed the abilities, but i don't think the amount of tornados went down by three each time.

EDIT: sorry, retarded post. I checked again and I saw that Squall did have expend x 3 - 1

I was amazed by the characters talking to each other during the fight. Squaresoft obviously intended for the tactics in Nic's video to be one that should be used, I wonder if there's more?

Yeah I love this game for the reason being that there are multiple ways of beating the tough bosses without having to resort to limit breaks and invulnerbility.

You know, Squalls Expend 3-1 ability was the first I've ever used in a serious fight, yet it proves to be very useful in that particular battle due to the time it took to beat him. ;)

Where'd you find out about the various methods, or did you just happen to stumble accross them?

Not bad. How long does it take to kill Omega this way, though?

The Lost One

A long time, considering his millions high HP and the fact that THIS Zell only inflicts 5.500 dmg with each hit... Might go really fast if you have better weapon and higher lv...

Too long. Hence why I wouldn't bother. Intresting to show it can be done like this, but I wouldn't do it. I'd kill him as quickly and as effectively as possible.

Well that was a waste of 9 minutes. Sorry about the negative post but that was shite.

I finally had the chance to watch it. While it was interesting to see Terra Break doing that little damage, I didn't enjoy this one quite as much as the one with the ladies. For one thing, on the one with the ladies, you actually got to see the victory and that wasn't the case here.

I actually agree with you.
Maybe I lacked inspiration after the Three Ladies video.

That, and, I guess I wanted to show an alternative method of defeating Omega and make that my main point.

Also... I was low on HDD space and these recordings are usually around 20GB per session :P

To answer someone elses query, using the Zombie strategy takes around 30-45mins to defeat Omega, sometimes quicker, seeing as the other two can actually fight as well.

You know... putting a comment like that is really unhelpful, and it only makes you look like a whining, nasty little man with a really big ego.

Specific feedback, such as what Agent0042 posted is useful because it means that in future I can use his/her suggestions to make my videos more innovative.
