Just picked up this game today, and it is absolutely beautiful so far. Its crazy having a sidescroller with such nice graphics. Even still, its not quite a sidescroller, as you have more freedom vertically.

Yeah, not much else to say except that I'm totally loving this game so far. Battles are seamless and easy to understand, familiar faces, good story going, and beautiful graphics.

I saw a review for it and it looks pretty awesome. I'll have to check it out sometime.

This game is just really really beautiful, and has such a nice battle system and setup in general. A bit different than VP1, but goddddd. I wish I didn't have so many exams and stuff going on right now because I'd be playing this game non-stop ;-;

its so pretty ;-; but beyond that, the story is excellent thus far, battle voices are tolerable (which is good compared to other tri-ace games), the battle system is fun and although its quite different from traditional RPGs, its easy to get a handle on. The item system is quite different, but good at the same time. You can get bonuses from having the same types of equipment (equipment comes in red, blue, green, and gray iirc. get all blue-type equipment, and you get a bonus). Also, each item has a special rune (earth, holy, dark, etc), and certain rune + color combinations unlock skills for you.

Go get this game!

yeah, i also got it, and i am 27hour gameplay,

its great, as expected from square-enix [tri-ace] the story seems also great as the 1st game, i am suspecting leona at the moment.

the battle system can be easy...and can be VERY difficult. and the mony and experience points are so hard to get, but now i have the sealstones [objects] that can increase both my mony and EXP after the battle.

its a fantastic game.

This game is out now? When did that happen? Why was I not informed? Guess this might break my WoW addiction for a few weeks.

Thats Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth. Basically the original game, reformated for PSP, and given some FMVs.

But yeah, back to Silmeria. This game can be quite a grind, although I think if I just forgot about my einherjar and focused on the main characters, things would go by quicker. Leveling takes awhile, but at least battles are fun, and once you learn the weaknesses of a certain monster in an area, its easy to blow right through the battles.

Sealstones are an interesting concept D: At first, they were relatively confusing, but after running past a few springs and dias(es?), I got the hang of how to "restore" them and get them in the system I guess. Was there anything like this in the original VP, or am I totally spacing? I do remember there being some crystals gained at the end of battle but I can't recall what they did ;-;

Graphics are still beautiful, I love how some einherjar know each other/talk to each other during battle. The music is lovely. And I have a crush on Rufus.

will i like to add, i found a solution to how level all of them up, currently just made it throught the dragon cave place, and as i excpected about LEONA identity.
sealstones are a major key rule to make the game easier ...no easy, because its still challenging.

yo cassie, have you been there in the place where the dragon orb you find in it [dragon palace or whatever] the music of that place.....is it the same in the 1st game but in remix?

any way it gets more interesting, i say i might meet up with lenneth, since one of her Einherjar is in the game...arngrim.

now i understand more, after finishing the 1st game on the PSP,

VALKYRIE PROFILE 2 time stor is BEFORE what happened in the 1st game,

or actually, its LEZARD VALETH...he go back in time in the past were silmeria [alicia ] still alive, as in the 1st game Brahms, got here prisoned with him.
you will know the truth in this game, Lezard goes back to change the future.

Lenneth valkyrie of the future comes back to stop him, the lenneth is the same Lenneth in the 1st game VALKYRIE PROFILE: LENNETH.
meaning when she came to the pats, there is a nother lenneth, but yet to be awakened.

I'm confused on how the battle system works. You just choose one of the four buttons for which character you want to attack? Then you just keep chaining them? Are there other moves than just the one?

you get to press the 4 buttons , this wont change, what can be change is the type and style of the attack, as you gain level, the character well learn new types of attacks;
attack that hits middle and lower as 2 combined attack, then after pressing the same button ineciate another combo but defferant style, like uppercut or slice from right to left.
later in the game you get to use all youre AP bar in one single round of attack, combining all 4 characters or less, wich baisically a massive combo to be unleashed.
