Are you Mario Kinnikuman's attention? If not I don't see how you are in a position to make that comment.

Wasn't there also a Nintendo 64 version of Neon Genesis Evangelion which was cancelled after it's beta stage?

Ah, The Lost for PS2. Too bad it never made it. It would've been an awesome game.

How many volumes was Shenmue supposed to be? 6-12? Something like that.

It's a shame they can't even make a third. :(

If I remember correctly, Shenmue was going to be about 12 chapters. Shenmue was chapter 1 and 2, Shenmue II was chapters 3 - 8, and the third installment was to finish the series.

I hope that one day, the final installment of Ryo Hazuki is told.

Actually, it was only released in japan. I've played the Rom for it, it was really irritating.

Don't forget Starfox 2 for the SNES. I was really looking forward to that one before it was canceled.

I really wish Castlevania: Resurrection wasn't cancelled for the Dreamcast. The soundtrack alone kicks ass. And it looked promising from the screens I've seen.

Thunder Force VI, also for the Dreamcast, would've been a dream come true had it not been cancelled. It too had an awesome soundtrack going for it.

I'm still waiting for Shenmue III, which I hope hasn't been cancelled. Ryo needs to confront Lan Di and avenge his father!

There was a game called Meowth's Party scheduled for release on the Gamecube. It featured Meowth from Pokemon and early screenshots showed him playing an electric guitar.

What a game that could have been :(

What about Nights into Dreams 2 that was supposed to be released on the Xbox, and Dreamcast IIRC? I don't know about anyone else, but I was super excited about it.

It was never canceled.

Mother 3 (Earthbound 2) for N64DD (now it's on GBA) was one looking forward too. At least, theres work on trying to revive that version.
Mmm...or any N64DD game for that matter.

I thought that was the closing theme for the Japanese version of pokemon? (not that I care about pokemon since I was irritated by a troll at AB4D, but I've seen the video clip somewhere).

In any case tho, at least Mother 3 is finally out albeit for the GBA. Too bad it'll probably not see light of day in English.

Or so (http://starmen.net/devotion/) you think (http://www.mother3.org/)

Officially? I doubt it...

Well at least many of the games were eventually continued on later consols. So don't lose hope. I kinda wish Obi-wan wasn't an Xbox exclusive game. You didn't mention many PC games. SCGhost was possibly one of the angrier losses with the whole 6 year drag.

oh.. and Omigosh! Xenosaga Episode IV-VI? Where did you hear about that?

The series was originally envisioned with six main titles. It was cut back to 3 after the commercial and critical failure of Xenosaga Episode II.

Episode II was the game that got me into the series (besides Xenogears). I don't think it's an overly bad game by any means, despite some rather frustrating flaws. I do, however, consider it to be at least somewhat inferior to the other two.

This brings to mind a very old tidbit I remembered from WAY back in the day, in a cancelled game special issue of "Gamepro". I recall mention of a cancelled "Green Lantern" game for the SNES. Which would've been interesting, if there had been any sort of development for it.
