I just got Knights of the Old Republic this week and I have to ask, has it always been this awesome?

I loved the gameplay, the character design and the story so far (Handmaiden has just joined the party). Was the original game similar and is it worth me tracking down?

The original was actually significantly better. The sequel was rushed in production, so there's a lot that was left incomplete.

THIS POST MAY HAVE SOME SPOILERS. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.

I've finished KOTOR II a few times, and there are a few things missing from the game, due to it's hasty release.

Not that I'm saying it's a bad game, just frustrating as hell when you're trying to following a sidequest, and can't because it wasn't added into the final product. For example, when you've activated HK-47 (I'm glad he was included in this one, one of my fav characters.), there's a reference to searching for more HK-50's and their manufacturing plant. That part wasn't added, as well as if you encounter some HK-50's WITH Hk-47 present in your party, their were supposed to be some interesting comments... on HK-47's part that is. Thing is, you only encounter the HK-50's on Peragus, Telos and Nar Shaddaa.

And there is also the rooms in the underground bunker on Telos, which can not open... as well as a HK-50 there, who after you activate him, takes five feet... them goes boom.

Apart from these are some other little things, I still enjoy KOTOR II, and I'm waiting for the sequel. I just hope that KOTOR III (If it is made and released) ties up the story of Revan.
