I was just wondering too see if anyone else would like to see final fantasy x made into a movie. I personally think it would be a good storyline to follow but as long as they didnt make a sequel. Anyways post your thoughts ...?

No, please don't make a movie as they will fuck it up like they did with AC

They may be doing a FFVIII movie but I doubt if there is any truth to it. An FFX movie wouldn't work as there is nowhere left to take the plot, as all plausible, and unplausible, venues have been taken .

And in a way X is kind of like a movie in that it had the elements needed. Voiceacting/graphics (as in doesn't look like shit)/story. FF VIII wa smissing two of those.

I myself kind of liked the game, not as much as the others, but the game left me with a sense of closing. Like if they wanted to make a movie, they could just combine all the cutscenes and fill in the holes.

Haha, true. They did ruin that sense of closure with FFX-2 though. I read in one of the threads here about a movie of cutscenes from X, I didn't pay much attention to it though.

I'd be happy to watch another Final Fantasy movie, not necessarily based on any of the games but on an original story. However as for making a movie on FFX I don't much see the point.

How do they make such mediocre movies? I mean if you are able to make a good story line, like in VI-X, making a movie should be no problem. I think a good portion of enix is losing it's touch.

i agree. i dont think that there is anywhere else to take the FFX plot (yeah some people already mentioned this so im just agreeing :-P) they already made X-2 and i just dont see how they could advance the plot anymore without, dare i say, having wakka and lulu get together. oops too late... ^^

Anywho, I know it doesnt mean it was good, but it was good to me. I dont go by critical standards. If you do, you miss out on alot of good shit.

If they made a FFX movie i would buy it right away. I wish that they would because they made one for FFVII so why not. FFX was on of the best FF in my opinion and it should have a movie. A story after tidus comes back from the far plane

As for what Starseeker said about Yuna being a Laura Croft rip off i agree. She is so differant in X2 then in X . it's almost like she is a diifferent person.

well i like Yuna non the less but she is differant and in the game it's as if she forgot about tidus. first she was looking for him and then she siide tracked i get it was to save the world but still.

I agree with the whole mulitple endings thing and the fact that X2 just wasn't the ideal game but if they made a movie with would be after FFX2 and it could be about what happened to Yuna and Tidus now that he's back. and maybe even the return of Seymour(Ihatehim).

I agree, The multiple endings in FFX2 kinda sucked-cause if you dont do it right you get the crappy ending and all your time is wasted!

Bringing back seymour seems unoriginal, but its the only enemy you can bring back, Except sin, and bringing that back would be pointless

Or they could do what they did in FFX-2: add a final boss (ie Vegnagun) and just say he always kept in hiding, which is why he wasn't present in the first installment.

Well the return of Seymour is not a bad idea. After killing him, he just kept coming back alive. I wasn't satisfied with his last death either. If they just brought him back and then properly killed him off, that would be much better.

My opinion: No. The game already has a sequel, a movie would be just too much!

lol I actually heard they were making a FFX-3. Now THAT would suck monkey nuts. So many things went wrong with FFX, for example when Seymour and Yuna are talking, I want to punch the TV to stop the dead-shit annoying voices and whinging.

Final Fantasy X was good, even some aspects of Final Fantacy X-2 were good, though not all. I didn't like them bringing back the ATB and Character Level aspects though, that was crap. The dresspheres and garment grids were good and of course the cinematics kicked arse but that's about it, the story-line sucked, the battle scenes sucked, and the characters were completely over the top. A Lara Croft wannabe, a drugged-out hippie, and a fucking emo with no sense of humour.

P.S., as with Yuna & Tidus, who was Lenne's partner? The guy everyone assumed was Tidus? I forgot his name and can't get my copy of X-2 to work.
