1. I love System of a Down. They were one of the more magnificent Nu-Metal bands, and I'm still especially in love with their brilliant lyrics.

2. Lacuna Coil and Coheed & Cambria: already classics for me. 'Nough said. <3

3. Stone Sour, well, I haven't heard THAT much of Corey Taylor going solo, but the guy can sing, apart from screaming. Not good, not bad imo.

4. Linkin Park, well, I used to listen to it, but not I'm not a big fan of it. They're not interesting when it comes to my taste in music.

Well Stone sour aren't that well known yet even though they have realesed a few videos. It was only recently that they got popular with 30/30 150 which i think is class. I don't listen to LP much as well they need to release a new album that isn't just remixs.

I disliked the Nu-Metal thing (2001, 2002?), like, SOAD and LP were seen as part of it. But in my opinion, System of a Down just has a lot more to show than Linkin Park (which is still a one-hit fly for me :p ).

I really don't understand how S.O.A.D are classified as Nu-Metal.

SOAD and Lacuna Coil are excellent, the others not so excellent.

All except Stone Sour. Never heard of SS. Linkin Park, C&C, SOAD, all is good!

Despite their crazy vocals, I quite like System of a Down.
While most groups' vocals consist of rythmic yelling, Lacuna Coil's slightly gothic vocals really appealed to me.
I've never heard Coheed & Cambria or Stone Sour.
Linkin Park is a good band, but a lot of their songs tend to be repetitive.

I used to listen to both LP and SOAD but I don't really care for them now.

I don't mind System of a Down to be honest with you.

I think SOAD are prty good. They have some fun music and I don't really think they fit into that whole nu-metal thing.

All suck except System of a Down, who are actually a very creative and fun band.

I used to listen to Linkin Park, but their music started to annoy me. :(

As for the others, I don't listen to them at all.

System of a down is horrible repetetive crap...Only one of the bands is worth mentioning and that's lacuna coil...nuff said

System, Lacuna and Coheed are all really good. Linkin Park can go commmit suicide for all I care, and I haven't had the desire to listen to much STone Sour considering how much I despise Slipknot.

System Of A Down - Annoying, but good musicians.

Lacuna Coil - Beautiful darker music. Female vox are great, male vox are ok at times, other times drown the music out. Well composed music.
Coheed & Cambria - Great music. Awful vocals.
Stone Sour - no comment.
Linkin Park - Thing of the past.

I like that S.O.A.D song that's called something like lonliest day... I don't really like any of their other stuff though. x x x

Lonely Day was one of their worst songs. Or at least I thought it was.

I do listen to Linkin Park sometimes ^^ They are pretty good :-)

S.O.A.D is a rather fantastic band...enough said.
LP was one of my favourite bands, but i believe they&#180;ve lost their touch.

I've seen the light of better Metal, but out of those acts... I gotta say that SOAD and C & C are the two that don't immediately put a sour look upon my face. Doesn't mean I particularly love their music, but I at least consider them having more talent than the other three choices.

Out of all the bands on the list I think System of a Down is alright. Nothing I'd ever buy unless I found it for a couple of bucks, but not bad. All of the other ones listen straight up suck (even with how critically acclaimed Coheed & Cambria are...just because a band makes concept albums and multiple ones that tie together...doesn't mean they sound good)

stone sour has been popular since i was thirteen.

I listen to only some Likin Park's songs.

Soad are very good lp used lisen to but just got sick of them it happens with that kind of music after a while

System of a down - used to be a big fan. dont really listen to them much anymore, but i dont mind them. i still listen to a few songs from time to time.

Lacuna Coil - never heard em, so i wont judge. im not too big on metal in general though usually.

Coheed & Cambria - like soad, i used to be a fan of them too. sort of grew out of them as well over the years i guess. theres a few tunes of theirs i still listen to also.

Stone Sour - havent heard much, but from what ive heard they just seem like a pretty dull and generic alt rock band. not really for me.

Linkin Park - fan of them back in middle school, haha. i dont listen to them anymore, but i dont have anything against them. their dj is ok.

System Of A Down are an awesome band, although I didn't really like their first album or steal this album that much. Toxicity fucking rocks, and Hypnotize and Mesmerize are growing on me (didn't like them when I first heard them).

Lacuna Coil; I haven't heard much of, but what I've heard I like.

Never heard of coheed and cambria.

Stone Sour are a good band, but I thought Corey Taylor just did it to show that he could actually sing, then he did that with Slipknot (Vol. 3 The Subliminal Verses) anyway.

Loved Linken Park when I was younger. Guess my taste matured. Still listen to them occasionally though.

And yes, Trivium are a great band.

SOAD- I don't really like it, but it could be worse
Linkin Park- Yeah i liked them, and still heard some songs until a couple of years ago
Stone Sour- Bother was a neat song
Lacuna Coil- meh, don't really like them

Big fan of SOAD, and somewhat of Linkin Park, but the rest, never really listened to them.

I like my stone sour, so much so that my email is named after it (stonesour_jim, made it about 3 years ago).

I use to have their old 1994 demo on my pc somewhere, brilliant stuff, nowt like anything i'd heard at that time.

Linkin Park was one of my faves, but if they want to keep me dedicated, I'll have to see if they've matured musically with their new album.

I don't like Coheed and Cambria, Lacuna Coil or Stone Sour.

I listen to SOAD and LP never got into Lacuna Coil and C&C and i just dont like stonesour.

I dunno im usually not into heavy stuff ... or english music to begin with, but SOAD has got creative juices behind its music and addresses real good subjects in their music. LP got me thru my emo days, but now theyre good to kick back and listen to when ur angry or hyper .... or driving at 4am when uve been driving for 19 hours straight =P
