Which GF and magic was most appealing to you?

And by that i mean the graphics of the magic or GF.

Some reason why you think so will make this topic more interesting.

Mine:


GF: Diablos, because of all those bats and how he pulls down that black sphere into the target, it has much power in it. Those marks on the sphere after landing, also cool.

Magic: Grievers shockwave pulsar, its like gathering energy and then BOOM! Looks very powerful.

Limit: Well since i�ve already said shockwave pulsar in magic, it would be lame to mention it again. Squalls Blasting zone will do. I like the way the sword extends into space, and then Squall smash it into the ground making a powerful inpact that explodes. Very powerful indeed.

GF: Bahamut. Who doesn't like big dark dragons spraying death and destruction on their foes?

Magic: Meltdown. Looks wicked, big ray blasting foe. Kinda lame effect though....

Limit: Fated Circle(Squall) Looks kinda nice, especially when the ground seems to burn.

GF: I wasn't big on summoning GFs. Possibly Tonberry because of some of the really useful abilities.

Magic: Meltdown --- although I actually liked it because of the effect. Meltdown basically totally killed the enemy's defenses, really useful at times.

Limit: Quistis's Degenerator was really useful, also, I liked some of Irvine's faster Shot limits.

GF - I liked Odin a lot, just for the mysterious way he entered.

Magic - The End, as it was not only remniscent of the last parts of the game, but it was also useful.

Limit - Shockwave Pulsar.

GF - Pudding (what I named Griever)
Magic - I never used magic, but boy did Ultima boost my elemental defense.

Limit - Degenerator. Very amusing to encounter this huge Red dragon and have Quistis just vapoprize it.

GF: Cactuar --- Cool summoning sequence.
Magic: Ultima --- Because it brings up your stats really high when junctioned.
Limit Break: Lionheart(Squall) --- Solves every single problem I have with the bosses in the game.

GF Eden
Magic: Meteor(use with person with high magic attack, devastating & I think it could be tripled[might be wrong])
(Limit: pulse ammo (really strong yet really slow)

Gf- Cactuar, No elem defence is very useful when ya get him to a high level.

Magic- Aura, Helped me out a lot during some of the battles

Limit- Micro missiles (Quistis) it helped me out a hell of a lot with the tonberrys and made killing them a piece of piss

Graphics-wise?

Magic: Apocalypse and The End were the ones that involved the most "seperate battle camera" movement, and I personally loved the appearance of Apocalypse. Too bad you never get to Junction it without a peripheral.

GF: Eden was by far the most visually appealing summon, even though the GF itself looked...odd...the fact that it dealt the most damage is somewhat overshadowed by the fact that it's also the LONGEST of the summons, easily.

Limit Break: Obviously they went all-out on the Lion Heart limit break and it shows. Actually, I hate this Break, but it's definitely near- or on-top from a graphical standpoint.

GF: hmm...Shiva, I reckon. Her summon sequence was beautiful, and she kicked ass.

Magic: I dunno. I liked everything that dealt super damage.

Limit: Selphies one, where you can do that Full Cure type thing. I dunno the name. I neglect the details.

GF - Shiva, the shatter of the Ice is great.

Magic - Definately Demi.

Limit Break - Irvines Quick Shot.

Limit break- Selphies the end complete devistation

GF - Tonberry. I just loved how he got out of his hole and...Doink!
Magic - Aura/Pain, completely because of the effect.
Limit - Definitely Selphie's The End.

GF: Cactuar, cuz he's fast and is the second most powerful GF at lvl 100. Cerberus comes close too b/c his sequence is bad-ass, and it's useful with expend-x-3.

Magic: I like how Holy and Flare look, but Apocalypse for the damage, and Meltdown for status.

Limit: Quick Shot or Zell's Duel; there's a vid on youtube where a guy crushes ultima weapon only using meltdown and Duel. /m\
