I don't think they should as FFX-2 wasn't a great sucess and didn't do as well as they expected. Plus i think they have run out of storyline ideas from the FFX story as Tidus is back what could possibly happen next?

What if te same way Tidus came back so did all the sent people including * don don don* Sin now Braska and Jecht are playable characters. Man I hope they don't do that. Granted I will play it, I would never purchase it.

I'm sure every developer expects his/her game to sell millions upon millions and blow all other games out of the water. But for FFX-2 to sell 5 million copies already, considering all the people who dislike it or won't even give it a try because you play as 'three sluts', it has enjoyed a ton of success.

I wouldn't mind seenin' how the story progresses but I didn't enjoy FFX-2 as much as the previous Final Fantasys. So I would say no, it was a sucsess but most of the reason was because FFX is a great game with a gripping storyline.

well if they did make one more, i can only think of one way it would be interesting.

though i usually cannot stand prequels, cause you always know what happens in the long run. i think if they did one with Jecht being main char and going through the process it showed glimpses of in FFX would bring interest to alot of fans and would work.

False FFX-2 was a.... good game more or less but FFx had nothing to do with it, FFX-2 made a 180 turn from X the story was so much different, she used to be a well respected summoner now she's a well respected spher hunter... the summoner is now a pirate (an overstatement of course). and the batle system was the greatest upside that was most likely the best battle system in FF history I haven't played tactics though. But saying X made X-2 good is completely wrong.

I was kinda hoping X-2 would have a completely different storyline and character personas (kinda like mai hime/otome?). I thought that there would be a different timeline and it would be more retro badass.. but the amplified cutesy ditsy stuff threw me off from completely loving the sequel.

perhaps an alternate universe movie would be nicer.

If this happened, maybe detailing Auron kicking ass or something, then I wouldn't mind a sequel. But to me, having the sequel they already do tells me they'll just sell out again and make it about another currently "scene" trend.

FFX-3? No. I wouldn't want to live to see the day.

The only reason I'd want an FFX-3 is if it was centered around the life and journey of Lord Braska, Auron, and Sir Jecht.

Yeah of course that would be nice. But it would be basically the same exact journey that takes place in FFX.
The only thing is the dialouge feom Jecht, Auron, and Braska that would make the game fun to play.

Overall, I think it is a bad idea.

The problem with that, is that all the key event of their pilgramage was covered in FFX. If it was to happen, it'd be a very dull game, as you'd know what happened, and all the key events before you played it.

If they make a X-3, FFX will no longer be my favorite Final Fantasy. OF course if they did a movie like with VII, I might actually watch it then shoot the TV.
