Ok I just went to the Baaj Temple and in that room with the statues. All the statues activated except for one. So I went through my items list and I found all the Cloister of Trials items except the Rod of Wisdom. Someone told me I can buy the Rod of Wisdom in at Kilika. So I went to Kilika and noone will sell me anything. I went to Besaid Temple where the Rod of Wisdom is supposed to be but a guy in front of the door is telling me theirs warriors inside and I am not allowed to enter...:-(... What else can I do?!

I'm not sure, but I don't think you can go back into any temples until after you've spoken to Mika in Bevelle. All you need to do is go to the Highbridge that should be a big shiny new location on your destination list and chat with Mika, and then the Bahamut fayth. Then all the temples will be open to you, and some nice treasures inside the Chambers of the Fayth, and the Rod of Wisdom in your case.

Hope that helped.

The only temple that doesn't open after that is Bevelle. You can't do that Cloister of Trials again. If you don't get the secret item in that one that you need for the Anima aeon (Kimarhi's Knight Lance, I believe) then you're outta luck. Better luck next time through the game.

Completely untrue. The treasure you need to get from Bevelle is the HP Sphere, which is the chest that opens automatically. The Knight Lance is just another treasure, not the actual Destruction Sphere treasure of the Bevelle Cloister.

Well, either way, if you don't get it the first time through you won't be able to get it later. I wasn't exactly sure what item it was (notice the "I believe") but I knew you get Kimarhi's Knight Lance with the destruction sphere so I took a shot. I KNOW that you can't go back though after the first time. Thanks for the correction.

Note the special item is the one that when the chest is opened you see a "Glyph" appear and fade above the chest,

Kewl?, the rod of wisdom comes from the 1st temple... Valefor's temple...

*edit* Soz thought the problem wasn't solved yet.

And yes, the Bevelle temple item is automatically obtained, you can't even leave the temple without getting it, cuz the chest blocks the path.
