damn there must be at least one drummer on this forum except me lol.

I am quite skilled with a flute up my nose.

I play guitar and sing/death growls/grunts. I can play bass using root notes and I can play alittle bit of drums, but wouldn't really call myself a drummer.

I know a guy who's a drummer.

As for me, I'm a pianist. I got my Grade 8 last November.

But now I'm trying to make my own arrangement of "One Winged Angel" on the piano, but it's REALLY hard, some passages are really complicated.

Edit: Been playing the drums for ten years now. Pearl Export 2001 series ftw. I used to have a old premier olympic kit. That sounded lush. Heres some advice for you mate. DON'T DO GRADES!!!!!! I passed all my grades then almost gave up because of practising the same peices of music and rudiments all the time. Time after time. For 8 years I had to practise like that!!! It kinda destroys the passion of being a drummer. Plus I love making up my own peices of drum sheet music. Just learn how to read drum music, its much easier. Also I advise you to learn the parra-diddle rudiment. One of the most basic rudiments that comes in handy in drum fills. Also alows you to build up a good tecneque. That is the most important thing, appart from timing.

I didnt, I took the recorder and thrashed it right before our first practice and then I played sick. (didnt get caught) I didnt have to buy a new one or anything, cause the teacher thought I had really bad ashma. :)
