Apparently it is a light gun.

I'm a litle worried about the classic style controller. It was my understanding that GC games would be playable with a Wii, but that doesn't look like it has enough buttons a GC controller does.

Then again, I don't play game cube very often (since I don't own one) so I don't really know.

I always got the impression that you could use an actual GC controller as well. could be wrong though.

There are Gamecube controller ports that you can hook up to the Wii.

all these years, i have been preaching how the snes controller, is the perfect controller. how no controller in the history of gaming, EVEN IN THE PC/GAMEPAD AREA, has ever come close to the awesomeness of the snes control, and now, after so so many years, nintendo shows the world, that i was totally right, and they've fucking braught it back...;_;

Well that`s quite the dogs bollocks.

They wouldn't release a new controller with a mic in it. The mic wasn't added because it would cost too much, iirc. Pretty sure if they were going to sell a mic they would just make a headset.
