How come every FF7 i see for sale online, whether it is new or used all cost 100-200$$+? why is this?

Because people think since it's old it's a "classic" so they can jack up the price. Which is bullshit. You can find used copies of FVII at yr local video game store or ebay

Good Point, But I would consider it a classic also. But the one i saw on eBay yesterday was 215 $$ with like 26 bids. That just seems alittle to crazy

That's because their are alot of idiots who would actually pay 215 for the game. Please don't be one of those idiots. Check around for better prices because i've seen them sell it for 200 less then on ebay:)

After doing my own quick eBay search, I saw one copy for about 75 USD and a couple others at around 40. However, even on the first page, there were at least two copies under 20 and a few more under 30. If you just dig a little, you'll find a cheap (ish) copy.

i don't think ive ever seen it for that much

eh the reason why FFVII is really expensive in New Zealand is because its really rare!!!! i mean they dont sell it in the local gaming store anymore because they stop making FFVII here... -_- it's rare to have the actual FFVII on pc because it was never sold in NZ the only way to get FFVII now is to get a 2nd hand on from friends or trademe.co.nz or ebay -_-

Deff check the local video game store. My local one had a PS1 +2controllers +FFVII+FFVIII for 50.

Funily enough they included no memory card, what the fuck they expect the poor purchaser to do i dont know!

That's if tmb04 lives in one of your foreign countries. You can't play these PAL games on US systems, and it's only the US versions that seem to be going for a lot.

Because people in North America are idiots?

I bought my PS1 copy about 6 months ago for $24.99 at EB. Since then they've stopped regularly stocking PS1 games, but I've still seen it.

I've seen the platinum (pal) version for the ps1 for 20 euros and it is brand new. And on ebay they sell the original version around 30 euro's (pre-played).
It's not really that hard to find a good, low-priced copy so just open your eyes and start looking at the right places...

It is ridiculous how much money you can make off of fanboys.

It helped me buy a skinny PS2.

Final Fantasy VII is a classic game and really should only be sold for £10. However, in GameStation the other day, I saw it for £20, which was a rip-off. To be fair, FFVII is a gamer's classic and it's incredibly huge.

In my GameStation, both FFVII, and FFVIII are £20. But you can get it cheaper online, as mentioned.

They still sell FFVII and FFVIII in game stores in the UK? They stopped over here a long time ago.

It's because GameStation is a game-trading store and so gamers can sell their games here. Final Fantasy VII is not in production, it's just that this gamer sold it to the shop.

What he said.

They're all preowned.

Oh, I thought you meant new. I haven't even seen a pre-owned copy of FFVII or FFVIII for eons either.
