Well it`s still to be announced for an EU release but considering the lackluster reviews it`s getting i wouldn`t get my hopes up.

Of course that won`t stop the rabid fanboys getting any game that their favorite chacters are in.

Of course, the fact that people like you will buy it simply because it has the FFVII name on it is exactly why it apparently isn't a very good game in the first place. Square-Enix knows they don't have to put out a quality product because brand recognition will sell it to most of their fanbase. As long as you help propagate that impression, S-E will continue to think you're stupid and put out inferior products as a result.

Well the whole point of buying a game just because your favorite character is featured in it sounds moronic.

Also, magazines and websites mostly have professional reviewers who give a proper un-biased look at a game. How can you disregard their opinions?.

I said it was one of my main reasons. But I like Final Fantasy games hence me going to buy it, I'm not into this corporate nonsense, if I like a look of a game I will go and buy it and I won't be told what I believe is good or bad. If I play it and its crap then I will say it but I can't have an opinon on something I haven't played and only just read about.

Also saying I'm buying something just has the FF7 on it is not only untrue not just a judgement you made. I got AC but I don't actually own FF7. I borrowed it and gave it back.

Also you aksed how I can disregrd their opinons? 1. I won't be told what I think is good or bad 2. By experience, I'm in to KOTOR too, and loads of XBOX magazine were reviewing sith lords and saying how much better it was then the orginal given it stupid marks like 9.8/10 and what did fans get greeted with a bug fuelled badly editted pile of shit. And now thanks to the good people at Obsdian the fans are restoring the game. www.team-gizka.org themselves.

Bit of advice-Don`t read any "official" magazines. Official magazines never have an un-biased look.

Go for something a bit more independent.

Well to be honest there hasn't been any doc news in the uk. so i haven't heard how crap it is. i might actually rent, you've got a point.

I agree with Mr. Denny on the independent reviews, they're not driven by money earned from advertisments. And I do understand what you mean on Yuffie being one of the reasons but if your interested in making everyone happy, you should be totaly clear on all your reasons for buying it but don't worry too much. You already know how some people around here are. And if DoC is what your into, more power to ya. Hope you do enjoy. :)

I'm going to buy its cause I read a very good english preview, in PS Gamer. It said something about the Japanese version having lots of problems and fixing them and adding more stuff to it which makes the gameplay more enjoyable. Thanks Ekinserge

Also Yuffie is cool to me, to say she isn't, is your personal opinon. Its not fact. I like all the characters in FF7 mostly Reno (shame he's not in the game!) Cloud, Tifa and Vincent.
