This is the 'mix your party members' thread!
as you guys know that you have three members(normally) in your party! so you pick three characters out of all the FFs BUT!!!

1) you cannot pick members from the same game (e.g could and tifa)
2) you cannot pick members that have similar weapons (e.g aeris and yuna)
3) it can only be playable characters (e.g tidus and squall)

oh and when you write someones name put which FF game they are from... eg Zell(FFVIII), blah-blah(FFBlah) hehe

someone start off because i hate starting new things >_< i should of gotten someone else to write this thing up @_@

Well, the other one was an Ultimate Team of 4 and there were no rules. I wouldn't worry about it, it's already long gone.

yuna (ffx) for aeons and white magic
squall (ff8) for attack
vivi (ff9) for black magic

Sephiroth - Because we can use his fanboys as a meatshield
Rinoa - Because I need someone that I can use as live bait.
Zidane - Because I refuse to do anything without Zidane.
Lulu - Because her massively big boobs... er, high polygon count will make everything blow up on the spot.

My ultimate team for magic:

Seymour (X) - you do get to use him in one battle, and he kicks @$$. Not to mention he can summon Anima.
FuSoYa (IV) - Uses a full mix of all magic (except summoning).
Aerith (VII) - Two words: Great Gospel. Plus she can summon too.

Vincent - Final Fantasy VII
Sabin - Final Fantasy VI
Squall - Final Fantasy VIII

Amarant-FF IX
Cid-FF VII
Quistis-FF VIII

Yuna, because she can summon Anima to do MILLIONS of damage.
Cid, cause the Airship
Vivi, looks sweet

Seeing as the majority of FF's actually have four-member parties, I'll do four.

--Zidane, 'cause I like scoring points with t3h Kuro. <3 He just also happens to be freaking awesome.
--Terra, because Morph-a-licious magic and Atma Weapons rock.
--Black Mage, because according to the rules, I can't say Vivi.
--and uber-Squire Ramza, because he pwns j00!1!1!

Well if you want a good attacking team then naturally the best line-up to go for would be Tidus, Zell and Squall. In one round they could possibly do approximately 1,800,000 damage with Wakka's Attack Reels, Zell's Armageddon Fist Duel and Squall's 8-hit Renzokuken + Lion Heart (all at max. strength).

If we're talking four person parties then add either Tidus or Yuna (with Anima) or even Cloud for a lazy 2 mil.

But in terms of a party of purely favourites then it would have to be Locke, Dagger and Quistis.
