This is certainly a great opportunity for independent developers to get a piece of the Wii action.

That's actually brilliant. This will allow smaller/not well known companies to happily go create their own games and get a good piece of the marketing behind the Wii.

Also, this will allow for lots and lots of games for the Wii, this will be interesting indeed!
