I really thought FF would put up more of a fight then that, Dark Knight very easily goes through.

10. Beserker: Obtained by saving the Travel Agency in Macalania in Chpt 3, Beserker gives the choosen character a very feral look, and with some intresting attacks to boot, it is one of the better dresspheres.

vs

13. Mascot: Obtained from Barkeep in Chpt 5, this dressphere gives you choosen girl a companion which performs all sorts of strange attacks. Not a hugely powerful or useful dressphere, but intresting nonetheless.

Full Throttle I thought was definitely the most powerful special dressphere and so it gets my vote. Warrior really actually isn't all that impressive --- many of the other "fighting" class dresspheres are more useful.

I liked Full Throttle but as with other special dresspheres was annoyed that you had to go through several spherechanges before being able to access it which took up a lot of time in battle. However, it was pretty much unbeatable once I'd powered it up with double/triple HP.

Warrior was a solid dressphere that I used through pretty much the whole game with Paine, and Excalibur was a damn useful attack at lower levels. I found it to be quite versatile too and for that it gets my vote. Warrior it is.

That was a great move, but it was difficult to pull off (unless you cheat and use pause). All the other times when you don't manage 777 Congrats!, you usually end up having your own party being attacked in some bizarre way which puts you at a disadvantage. I like my damage to be certain, much like the dark Knights darkness attack. Sure, it damages the character, but not critically like failing on the reels would. Bryan --- I get the general impression that nobody is going to do nominations. I'd do some except that I'm afraid I'd probably just come up with stuff that I already used in the previous edition. You might want to just go ahead and put the list together yourself if nobody's going to post any nominations.

Yeah seems to make sense dude. I was gonna post some but I cant think of the proper names.

Hmm, if you just wanna post basic descriptions, I think I should be able to come up with the names.

Hrm --- the official guide? You mean written by Square-Enix or something? Who's the publisher? Because my guide is by BradyGames and I'm pretty sure it says on it that it's the "official guide."

Ketevan

I think there are two versions, but on the guides that I own, they are all marked from Authorised Collection.com except for the FFVII Guide which is marked from BradyGames. I'd like to add that the FFVII Guide is the worst too. It has many errors and is not as in-depth as the other guides. My advice is that if you want a good guide, make sure that it has Authorised Collection labelled on it.

Ok, lets get this going. I've got a list of 32 missions, drawn them off and we can start now.

Battle 1:

18. Follow that O'aka!(Chpt 1): Hounded by Al Bhed creditors, O'aka is on the run, you can catch him and do two things: Turn him over to the Al Bhed, or hide him aboard the Celsius, and help clear his debt, which if you manage to do so, he opens a shop selling a lot of very useful items.

vs

16. Foggy Fiend Frenzy(Chpt 1): Essentially, a gauntlet from Mushroom Rock Road to Youth League headquarters, fighting your way through fiends. You can reach the Den of Woe for the first time and meet Nooj for the first time also.

Fight!

Let's do one for Follow that O'aka. It wasn't all that great, but I found it more fun than the Foggy Fiend Frenzy overall. That one just got annoying after a while.

BTW --- I think the IX strategy guide is generally considered the worst, because it keeps referring to information at PlayOnline and that info isn't even available anymore.

Follow That O'aka-10
Foggy Fiend Frenzy-0

A total whitewash for our first battle! Hopefully not a sign of things to come.

Battle 2:

31. Masterpiece Theatre(Chpt 5): Very intresting mission this one. The Al Bhed build a very strong machina which you can fight, and by digging up parts on Bikanel Island, can make increasinly more powerful. Once it reaches its maximum, it goes awry and you are forced to fight it.

vs

6. Water Are We Doing Here?(Chpt2): Short and sweet. Simply go to the Oasis on Bikanel Island, where you fight Logos and steal a syndicate uniform. Machina Maw is obtained here also.

Masterpiece Theatre-4

WAWDH nicks it by a solitary vote in the end!

Battle 3:

Concert Clean-Up: A fairly short mission, in which you are required to eliminate fiends in a cavern in the Thunder Plains, in order for Yuna to safely perform her concert. You fight the boss Zalamander here.

vs

Battle Blockade: The Ronso, seeking vengence against the Guado for Maester Seymours atrocities, are carrying out an invasion against their enemy. It is up to Yuna and company to confront Garik, and try and prevent him from carrying out the massacre.

Fight!

A 2:1 win for BB there, and it advances to round 2.

Battle 4:

Tourist Trap: Taking place in the cave located on the gorge just north of the Calm Lands. You are required to rescue the tourists trapped in the fiend infested cave, and defeat Yojimbo. Not an easy battle.

vs

YRP, The Scalpers Three!: At the Moonflow, the girls are required to sell all the tickets for an upcoming production by Tobli. Done correctly, a tasty profit and a dressphere are your reward.
