They won't include the rumble feature, I can almost guarantee that. Hmm, that 360 is looking pretty good now if you ask me.

Now that controller looks stupid i think. Movement sensors sound ok but i dont think they will catch on so they should stick with the rumble

the ps3 controller is using movement sensors and it looks exactly like the ps2 controller.

Why? The DualShock2 is just an upgraded PS1 controller. The design is good and all. So why bother changing it?

I was kinda disappointed that they got rid of the 'boomerang' styled controller because it was new, but I'm still comfortable with the usual design. I just hope they don't make things worse, hopefully better.

I beg to differ, the boomerang styled controller was horrid.

The shoulder buttons are too far up. To access them more easily, people would probably need to hold the controller around the blue area. That makes the area highlighted in green completely unnecessary.

The buttons and pad are slanted too, which seems like it would be an annoyance more than anything. After two controllers where everything is straight, there's no reason to put everything crooked.

The whole design smacks of trying too hard to be edgy. Like it was made to appeal to the MTV crowd.

it does seem kinda funny. but remember how nintendo's "straight" a, b, buttons turned into slanted abyx. not that i care to defend it. but it doesn't seem like a good reason to knock it. just say it looks stupid and we'll all agree with you. no need to make stuff up about how nobody likes slanted things.

Tact, Nintendo's ABXY setup is on a cardinal axis. The fact that the ones on that controller are not (which would be rather irritating) is what she was pointing out.

I forgot about the shoulder buttons. I was thinking they would be behind the controller than on top. Kinda like triggers similar to the Xbox controller. But I have big hands and I'm not really sure how big the boomerang controller would actually be. But I'm familiar with the old style and am comfortable with it, so I don't have any complaints except the absence of the rumble feature.

Valerie Valens

It didn't really look like it was behind the controller, and remember that not everybody is as manually endowed as you. You might feel comfy with the boomerang styled controller in your hands, but I sure as hell won't.

Haha wtf. How can you get sued for having a rumble in your system. Just say that you did it individually. Its like Sony suing Xbox because both their consoles are black coloured. WTF is this world coming to?!?!?!?!

That's if you have normal people hands. If you have hands the size of catchers' mitts* like I do, it's no big deal.

Hahahaha. "Just say that you did it individually." I am sure that many people would love it if the legal system was that simple.
