As far as Mythology goes in FF, there is alot of it used from asian places, I can recall tons of asian-based monsters, I think shiva's indian too (not quite sure).

Seifer seems to be a night-wannabe so he'll prbably team up with the gf with the shiniest armour imo.

I think, after all that squall and rhinoa have been through it'd be better if they stayed like that.

Squall and Quistis could be an interesting couple imo.......

not really, key events like when odin attacks seifer would have to be changed (unless there was a boss battle between odin and seifer)

I think a remake could be good, if it were in the perspective of another character who's life tie's in with squall and co.

But, the fact that ff8 great was left where it was I don't think that a new game is neccesary.

Thats a good comment, have you read any of the litrature on the FF shrine done by various fans. It is extremely good. Mabye thay should write a book and publish it. Obviously in my perspective I would want it to center around romance but it would be good to know the thoughts of the other characters aswell, what thay thought juring and after the game.

I think Squall and Rinoa are fine the way they are. Selphie and Irvine seem to connect and Zell already has his girlfriend. Quistis doesn't seem to be right with Seifer IMO, but I don't know who would be good for her. And Seifer I think would be best with Fujin.

See the problem with using greek mythology would be that all the gods did was work for zeus and affect humans by helping or punishing ex. falling in love bringing out the sun making you smarter and faster and etc + cerberus the legendary 3-headed dog copyright of FF8 is in greek mythology and all he does is help. but the gf's are all gods just not greek one's infrit has something to do with dante's inferno shiva is a muslim god quetzacoatol is a mayan thunder god diablos is spanish for devil obviously and alexander is a christian angel (who somehow became a cybernetic angel).:-D

Me I dont know what type of god's they should make but Iwould like to see more gods closely related to christianity. But I'm skeptical to see what it would be GOD too broad Jesus would be just as broad. But maybe something like gabriel the angel with like holy/divine blade or a general christian soldier that fights fo you like in ff-x but hey i don't know :-!
