Before the hacking, I was reading through some of the old FFVII threads, out of boredom tbh. Anyways, the threads were so full of hilarious fanboy bullshit, I thought i'd save them and merge em all together. Enjoy!

"lol, crazy, 17 pages of nothing but flaming. ok, some of you have a point about the game, but for those of you who were saying that a game should be challenging, here is my answer. some people dont want brain numbing, or not even slightly complicated games like the zelda seires. thats whats so cool about FF7, it is easy to foreshadow the sotryline, but also has some plot twists that you would, or might, not have expected. if you were playing the game for the first time, and no one had ever told you about anything that happened in the game, and you could even guess that Aries was gonna be killed by Seph before she does, then i wouldn't really belive you. the way your describing the story/plot line is like its a book that you can open, read the first 4 chapters then know everything that will happen in the rest of it. ok here, answer this then if you think that i havent defended it properly yet. if FF7 is such a crappy game, why is it a greatist hits game? just something for the flamers to think about"

i love final fantasy 7, how can i back it up??? aeris, she made the game, the storyline is hard to follow for younger fans, i first played it when i was only 8 and i didnt really understand it, but i still completed it anyway, the statargy book is only a walk through of the game and basic requermants of how to complete it, going back and playing it again and also looking around the place more will show you a little bit more....a few things you might of missed........some things you click with some you dont...................you obviosly only played the game to kill people and complete it, i play it mostly everyday still now.....completed it about 8 times...........never gets old for me........i love the storyline, just because it doesnt have dramatic twists in it makes it crap??? think about what your saying dude"

"I totally beleive FF7 is the best. NO it is NOT the only Final Fantasy I own, nor is it the only role playing game I own. I have Final fantasy 1,2,4,7,8,9,10,10-2, and Tactics. I also have Chrono Trigger, Xenosaga, Mario RPG (its made by square soft), and will probably purchase more in the future. FFVII has the best story, THERE ARE NO PLOT HOLES AND ALL THE QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED IF YOU PAY ATTENTION TO THE STORY!! The most shocking and famous moment in the game, as all of you do or SHOULD know, is Aeris's death. It's not that I didnt expect her death because I DID have a feeling, but I did not expect her to be killed so brutally and under such heart breaking circumstances. Along with this I enjoy the excellent music, well rounded characters, great humor, good graphics (for their time) and great mini games(lol)."

Oh and the cutscenes where pretty good looking for a Ps1, when I first got it I had to recheck to see if I got the right disks lol.
