Animal Crossing: Wild World, I haven't yet bought it, but I plan to in the near future. I just saw this on another forum and i thought it looked pretty swell.

Animal Crossing: Wild World will feature:

- Online and multiplayer in addition to a single player
- Not four individual houses like in Animal Crossing on the GC but one (possibly larger) house that accomodates for individual players on each cartridge - non-multiplayer. This means less space in your town is taken up with the four houses and you can also choose where you want your bigish pad to be located in your town.
- Players can collect sunglasses, masks, hats, change hairstyles, trade and create star constellations (with an addition of an Observatory possibly located in the Museum) and buy/collect other all-new items that you could never have seen in the GameCube Animal Crossing.
- Online play will be based around a code or player PIN system where once your name is registered on the network, you can obtain your town/player code to send to your friends or to random people on the internet or in the general public. Simply input someone else's code and if that person is online, you will be able to visit them. Also, you can choose to allow or block certain users from entering your town and create a sort of buddy list to quickly check if your friends/acquaintances are online and to easily invite them to your town or go to theirs. There may also be a player list that allows players to select towns that are online but that is currently unannounced and unconfirmed.
- Some images that have recently surfaced suggests a town hall of sorts and of course the infamous bar or "coffee shop" where KK Slider is said to showcase his music (perhaps still on Saturday nights?).

I never got into the whole Animal Crossing craze, if you want to call it that. But a lot of people found the game to be quite good. So what's the point of the game?

yeah.

I've been waiting on this, because honestly, it's the only DS game I have wanted to play badly enough for me to buy the system.

I adore animal crossing. So much fun. ^^

The point of Animal Crossing was to get to the highest level of Tom Nook's store and then outrun the two little junior Nooks to eternity.

The main reason we got a DS is the fact you can play imported games without doing anything to the DS. And we will be getting Animal Crossing :D

I picked AC:WW up a few days ago and i think it is pretty swell

Single player is pretty much the same as the gamecube Animal Crossing, except the local police dogs are now guards at the town gate.

Wi-Fi Multiplayer however, is petty entertaining. Running around town with friends showing off the fish you have captured, or the fossils you have found is pretty neato. Also, digging holes in your friends town is prty gr8.

Everybody has to buy this game and come to my town and do stuff. ^^

Oh and that fiendish owl at the museum can actually identify fossils himself now~
