Looking at my revision guide right now.......... All I can really give ya, thats any good is
HP: 23,800
And when you get it lower than 3,000, he will deal approximately 5,000 damage to all party members. Avoid KO by equipping special dresspheres, or by using Lady Luck's Auto-Life. Not much else really.

And as for the scary thing, wtf is going on with Paine and Rikku

It didn't scare me that much. The background was very dark though and it's full of pyreflies.

Shuyin is poisoning their minds by using his pyreflies that combined with his hatred!

Anyways, it would be a lot better if you go to the Den of Woe after you've reached level 40(and defeat the boss monster) of the Via Infinito in Bevelle. Because then after you beat the monster in level 40 in Via Infinito, you'll be rewarded with the Cat Nip accesory which can make your one character inflict 9999 damage when she has a low/critical HP. Then when you have the Cat Nip, equip it with a character that's equipped with the Gunner dressphere, then use Trigger Happy on Nooj(or whoever).

I never thought that the Trigger Happy was any good with the cat nip.
I used the Black Sky with the cat nip, that was much more effective, especially when I didnt use Gunner and I used Dark Knight

Trigger Happy is more effective especially when you unlock Trigger Happy level 2(or 3?) because it gives you more time to shoot your enemy and inflict 9999 damage. And you control how many hits your enemies get unlike Black Sky.

That's what I think anyways.

Yer but think about it, why would you want to become a gunner in the first place. Dark Knights are 2nd best Dresspheres in the game. So basically I would think most people would use Black Sky

Topic, please.

As for my thoughts, what levels are you at? And if all else fails, you can also try one or more of the special dresspheres, if your levels are too low to take him on comfortably otherwise. A Berserker with Evade and Counter might work too.

I never thought much of the special dresspheres. They were too much hassle

I didn't think much of them either, but that's not to discount that they can be quite helpful when your levels are too low and nothing else is working.

What exactly do they do, that are actually any benefit to us?

They have they the ability to learn both Double and Triple HP as well as Break HP Limit (have to find manual for that). They also have pretty high HP just by default. They have some pretty strong moves and Break Damage Limit, though again you need a manual for that one. And if you end up getting killed in a special dressphere anyway, you can switch to another girls' or revive the fallen girl and keep fighting as a normal party, having done what you could with the special dressphere.

They actually don't sound that bad, but its just that I tried it once and it was poor

Also, this hasn't been covered, but make sure you have a Theif steal items Nab gil from them. I forget how much you can get, but it's an unusually hefty amount, even without Gillionaire equipped.

Thief / Steal Gil is a waste of time if you know how to work Lady Luck's Random Reels / 777 trick.

Easy way out? Equip Yuna with Bloodlust, then equip Iron Duke. Instant 1/4 HP. Then equip Cat Nip, go to Highwind Roads or whatever the Garment Grid is that gives you First Strike, and use Trigger Happy Level 3.

Also: Equip Bloodlust and another 1/2 HP accessory, then unequip them and use Speed Bracer and Cat Nip.

You can beat any enemy, except for Mr. T, like that.
