Did anyone else feel that when the Coffee Guy died in the earthquake, that it was the saddest part in all of IX.

This is not a joke by the way, I was actually pretty sad

i was distraught the first time it happened, i hadnt finished the coffee side quest!! Now though, I accept and treat him as a martyr.

It is slightly sad yes, i hate it when the old and vulnerable die on video games, especially if the main characters are directly/indirectly responisble for the deaths

It was the worst out of all the FF's that I played, but it was still good.
But there was need for an old man just to die like that

Ah, every thread always seems to have input onto how FFIX is. Make a damn thread about it or something, but keep it out of other threads.

Yeah that was sorta sad, but what about everyone in Cleyra? o.O

I thought that the ending was absolute shit and laughable.
And as for the people in Cleyra, I felt nothing of them, they seemed really uptight, and it was nowhere near as sad as the old man's death

Perhaps they could do what amounts to a sending in IX for him (seeing Dagger jumping ...up... and down... in some water (to rephrase a Zidane quote, "Ooh, bouncy"), j/k, i think)
