its basicly a retelling of the Nibelheim incident.. inaccurate and rather cheap aswell if my memory serves me right

it will get released with the DVD release of FF7 Advent Children i think

Ah yes, Last Order. It's an awesome little anime but the story is a tad altered from the game imo.

Sony never said FFVIIAC was to be released in November - it was just a rumour that everyone, fan and retailer alike, seized upon and took as gospel. January is now the current rumour for the US release at the moment, with an international release sometime after that.

And from the information I was told, Last Order is NOT being released outside Japan, ever. After all, it was only included as a bonus disc on the Japanese FFVIIAC Premium Package - it wasn't available seperately. So don't get your hopes up for an official English translation and release of it I'm sorry to say. By all means, may Square and Sony prove me wrong though.

Please don't post stuff like that again, it's just spam which gets annoying. Next time at least give a reason, or something~

Last Order isn't very nice. Just a little backstory and running time is too short. Animation is average at best. Wish there were more to it.

I have no idea about this, but I want to see it. I've seen little images on the intronet, (I love that word...that and Awexome.) of it, but never heard anything about it till just now. If there's one thing I like, it's the idea of Cloud being in an anime for I is a Cloud fan...slash anime fan. But not one of those, "OMG I know everything about Japan because I watch anime!" otaku guys. They suck.

Last Order is absolute shit. It takes one of the greatest moments in FF (The Sephiroth/Jenova reunion) and butches it by changing the plot so Zack looks awesome and Cloud looks like a complete fag. There was nothing wrong with how the events originally panned out; they should have left it the hell alone.

The animation wasn't anything special. Akira has much better animation, and that's 17 years its senior...

Final Fantasy anime?Eh...It sounds cool, but I'd have to watch it to know.I like anime, but sometimes they can make some really stupid stuff.Even if it stinks, I'll try to get it.As long as it has Sephiroth in it.

Yeah, Last Order has Sephiroth in it (and yes, he is still an insane hard-arse), but the animation studio who produced FFVII:LO (Studio MADHOUSE, who also were responsible for producing the FFV anime spin-off FF The Legend of the Crystals back in 1994) saw fit to alter several plot details, making events a little different to how things actually occured in the original game.

The main gripe I had with FFVII:LO though, was that Elena was shown as a member of the Turks during the Nibelheim incident, when she didn't actually join the agency until some five years after the Nibelheim massacre in the original game. Unfortunately, this change was made because Square Enix was trying to make FFVII:LO tie in with the Japan-only PSP game FFVII Crisis Core (the generic Turks shown in Last Order are characters in FFVII:CC.), rather than a doing faithful retelling of one of the key moments in the original FFVII.

I could point out the other inaccuracies too, but they would spoil what little reason there would be to watch this.
