Hey, in FFX when they're on Gagazet. Remember when they get to this one place and theres a wall. Can someone tell me why they'res a bunch of people carved into it and what was that big tornado that sprung up from the ground.

The People are the ones who died in order to become Fayth. About that tornado thing, I have no idea what you mean...

Yeah, they're Zanarkands survivors of the machina war who have become the fayth for the summoning of Dream Zanarkand.

As for the tornado thingy, i believe it appears that its coming off the fayth, and so it maybe a physical manifestation of the collective power of the fayth which Yu Yevon uses for he previously mentioned summoning. At the end of the game, you also see that it dissolves into the souls of the fayth or the summoned people, so it might also be a physical manifestation of not just the magic power of the fayth, but also the container of the souls being created in the dream Zanarkand. This is just my theory though...

In FFX-2, that location is named the "Fayth Scar" by Kimahri. As has already been established, the people into the wall are Zanarkandians (totally not a word...) who survived the war with Bevelle 1000 years ago and decided to become Fayth to allow Zanarkand, in all its glory, to live on in their dreams. This is, after all, what Bahamut's fayth tells you when Tidus goes into his little dream sequence, in which you also see a destroyed Zanarkand.

The water, in my opinion anyway, is not actually water, but some other solution (possibly the same thing that pyreflies are mode out of) that is being called by fayth across Spira to "summon" (to use the game's words) the dream Zanarkand.

Metal Maniac, why bother posting that comment? Anyone who reads it is just gonna disregard it because it's stupid. If you want to make a thread about how much you think the games were boring i believe that's ok, but you won't be liked :)

I'd like to add that at the end of the game, the big whirl pool thingy has Tidus's face and loads of other faces on it, but I am not sure what it means though, can anyone explain?

I think it's just a magical tornado of water that exists because it wants to exist in all of it's entirety. And Magical pretty colors

As i said. its just my theory, but ive never seen anything to contradict this and may also explain why the citizens of dream Zanarkand can go to the Farplane which is another issue ive seen come up at times

How do you know that citizens of the dream Zanarkand, go to the Farplane?
It never explains that in the game that I know of
